Small worlds: Saltwater Creek, Beowa National Park

An old banksia tree gets washed downstream and becomes lodged in a sea of sand where it provides a focal point for life as the tide comes and goes in an otherwise sandy desert. Filmed at Saltwater Creek in Beowa National Park on the Sapphire Coast of NSW, Australia.

Love it Greg! so cinematic, it's amazing how much life congregates around a piece of wood in a desert of sand, I love the little leather jacket, I used to have one in my estuary aquarium, they get so tame mine would eat out of my hand and follow me across the room watching me, great video, I've been missing your work 🙂

thanks Jason. So glad I've got access to my account again, just had to wait 30 days for a reset email! Yes the little leatherjackets are very cute, the last thing I expected to see out there in the middle of the sand. Will try and get a few more videos out as I clear out my HDD's
