I remember Vialli in Euro 88 amd Italia 90. And in Sampdoria and later Juve. David Trezeguet left Juve, we have not gotten a replacement for Trezeguet. What a goal scorer Trezegol was.

Ya’ll really don’t get it do you? Motta doesn’t require volume goal scoring from his CF, he wants a Bobby Firmino who is good on the ball, opens up space for others and can drift around the field to help support and distribute. The whole point of Koopmeiners was to increase goal output from the midfield, the problem is he has no space to run into because Vlahovic blocks the middle, expecting constant service into him. With a Kolo Muani and/or Zirkzee type 9, Yildiz, Conceição, Gonzalez, Koopmeiners, etc. will be able to “make up” for the lack of a 25 goal striker because the attack becomes more balanced and less predictable. Vlahovic isn’t a bad player, just a terrible fit for the direction of the club and the style of play we want to achieve. You either cash in on him and bring in a guy that fits the system, or watch both him and us struggle and we lose him for free in 2026. He’s not willing to renew and his wages are unjustifiable for what he’s producing for us. It doesn’t make sense to continue.

I understand it completely but is Zirkzee with a commitment around 40M the only guy to do it? Also Kolo ain’t that guy. If this was the be all end all… then he still has had opportunities with Nico as of late or Yildiz could also facilitate that but he hasn’t even tried it. So it’s easy to feel like it’s all a bit scrambled. Vlahovic was always heading this route though… they can’t rid that salary quick enough. It’s inevitable but I want a stronger option for main man.

@ the problem becomes the moving parts in 2 different directions. You first need a team that is willing to either put hard cash on the table for Vlahovic, or accept him in a swap. Arsenal has apparently been kicking the tires on Dusan recently, but any offer lower than 60 mill can’t be accepted because we need a starting caliber replacement immediately. PSG makes the most sense as both teams have players they want to be rid of and both likely fit into the plans of either club. Zirkzee on a Loan with obligation only happens if Vlahovic is sold, otherwise it’s another debt we have to pay this summer without knowing where the money is coming from. On Kolo Muani we can agree to disagree, the player at Frankfort is not the same as this PSG version, but PSG tried to utilize him as an Mbappe replacement and that was foolish on their part. The striker who had well over double digit assists in Germany would be a welcomed addition. He’s physically and technically gifted, all he needs is confidence and the right system. Motta would offer that chance.

Giuntoli is the last man we should sell. He has helped Juve. Dont try touch Giuntoli. You would sooner touch Thiago Motta but not Giuntoli.

I agree, Giuntoli has helped Juve. He is managing the finance and putting things together and building the bases for the future. He reinforced the squad. Some players might not be as good as when they played for other clubs, but that's not Giuntoli's fault, probably we should look at what is going on with the preparation and with the staff. Motta should also try to mix the team better on the field. Some players seem playing in a wrong position/role.

For January Just sell players who are on loan, not players who are in the first team to generate funds . Simply because the new signed will need time to adapt and if you keep selling our main players , the adaptation process will be like never ending story . No excuse anymore

We should sell vlahovic for the funds, especially if he's not gonna sign a new contract. We can use it to build a proper squad. And yes the Motta criticism is fair but he's a good coach and we saw what he did with bologna after a season of building. Yes the club is in a bad spot right now but if we build what we have right now instead of scrambling for an immediate solution, I still believe that in a season or two, we will have a Juventus we recognize

I am rooting for Motta because it’s best for us but he must get better results in order to be granted that time. It’s now a 3 team battle for fourth spot unless those top three start dropping decent amount of points so all wiggle room is gone.

No details so far other than what I shared. Me personally… Kolo is flexible in terms of position and can play anywhere across the top but he’s not a main man imo.

When someone says "not obsessed with winning", it's no surprise if big Susan has already checked out. Jan is only supposed to be about touch up work but this indication of a swap between a 90 mil flop and a 12 mil not deserving CF, plus defenders is all down to Giuntoli's failed summer planning. DV will go the way of Chiesa and Danilo, last min panic by Giuntoli and sold for pennies. Now with that bone spurs draft dodging Milik who was last seen during the moon landing and the Zirk flop, does it even matter when a coach has settled for not winning. I WAS THE ONLY ONE saying it back in the summer before pen to paper that Giuntoli and Motta were not the right choices esp Giuntoli. We have to look at the research of 8 years of Naples meh and Motta had only coached small teams and not even for a long period to gauge how good he is consistently. Once upon a time, to be Juve coach you had to have gone through a footballing pilgrimage and be the best of the best. I would have liked Thiago to have at least managed up to Lazio level or abroad and developed his credentials first. RIP Gianluca LEGEND.

I think the whole “not obsessed with winning” is so overblown. In context with what he was saying, he was speaking of it as a personality trait and it keeping him from “panic mode” with all the draws. Not that he doesn’t want to win or doesn’t care. That said, he should be more careful or more clear with his words and if he did intend on saying he doesn’t care solely about winning then yeah, that’s a problem. However, I don’t think that’s the issue with Dusan. I think it was potentially a right guy but awful timing situation with Vlahovic. I don’t think he can break out of the damage done over these past few years of constantly wondering if it’s him, is it system, or what the case may be and now he just needs a reset and so do we to be completely honest. My fear though is, these guys listed won’t save us or help the cause to the degree anyone thinks and I’m also hesitant on chasing guys for Motta who hasn’t shown me personally enough with who we already have. Let’s see but it’s a bit of a mess no doubt about it. Whether we move him or not because I do feel he’s checked out.

@@AllJuveCast I do understand your points amigo as actions speak louder than words but there are no actions to alleviate this as we all know if those draws were 1-0 wins a lot would be quiet. Not me I would still be concerned with the lack of subito and not enough has be said of Colinet as well. Motta has to be careful as the fans are already getting impatient and they have also not forgotten his ex Inter links. The thing is PhD Max for all his flaws at least showed us grinta with the infamous Max striptease. His words often riled up Giuntoli as he was an Agnelli pick. Motta will not be held to the same standards as if he fails, Giuntoli fails and it seems more about saving face and protecting ego rather than to admit it has not worked out. Agree those on the list will add nothing as the system but moreover lack of grinta dna is sorely missing. I know you won't like this but missing out on CL might do us a world of good. Not for the obvious reasons financially but longer term. For years we have just thought it good enough to get by even via Faraoni. Missing out properly might wake up Elkann to sell and I know in Saudi Arabia we would have no such issues being the biggest name in Italy.

Kolo Muani is a NO NO! We need to sell Vlahovic, but not for Kolo Muani. Schick, Boniface Openda, Sesko, Budimir, Lukebakio, Luca, Mbeumo. Maybe Lookman and Rutegui would be better, but the price might be hefty. In any case, we should forget about super strikers like Haaland or Vini. Let's focus on real targets. And if you ask me I'd go for either Lorenzo Lucca or Patrick Schick. One is super talented and young, the other has experience. In any case, I don't see Zirkzee or Muani in the squad. But Vlahovic is the wrong man.

Keep Danilo till the end of the season. We need him as things stand. Convince Feyenoord and get Hanchko in January '25. No excuses. As for a striker, I am totally lost. letting Vlahovic go is a yes for me but we need a top prolific top-scorer striker. No more promising or inexperienced very young players. Above all, Motta should start showing that he is capable of managing Juventus. We are not Bologna.

I think we will be still out of top 4, even with Vlahovic stay until the end of the season. Juve right now is too inconsistent. Winning is not important, it's the only thing that matters. (Giampero Boniperti) I understand every new coach needs time, but i just dont see any improvement or any sign that Motta will create this Juve team to be better than Allegri's last season. I think Giuntoli needs to appoint new coach for next season.
