Do you happen to have an updated video like this? So far I've been able to export the bones and animations to Blender (though if I export an animation with the model, it looks like a horrifying monster). But how do I import my fdp file to aqua model tool so that I can export the character outfit / accessories and maybe animation along with the bone model as an fbx? Or do I need to import the clothes / etc seperately into blender and resize them all manually?

It doesn't work that way. An FDP is NOT a model, it is simply a collection of items that the game combines into your final character. Replicating that process outside the game is complex, and currently blocked by some major unknowns.

it a bit late to ask this but does this work on blender or MMD? bcs i do want to try using pso2 LA or motion to make music video base on these. THo where do you find the La and motion file?

Sort of. I later made a standalone program that I put in releases of my AquaModelLibrary git repo. Aqua Model Tool can convert an animation to aqm, but currently cannot export an existing one. As for file locations, I regularly update those in #file-location-data in downloadable sheets in the Pso2 Modding discord.

Is it somehow possible to change the Female Idle standing animation? the belly looks so weird when standing, i really wish it would be like in the Salon the Idle Pose

Yes it is. In fact, if you want you can copy paste that aqm over the standing anim. It's pretty simple.

There were animation swaps that did something like this even a while ago, but people were just kind of meh about it.

@@Shadowth117 iirc that was just putting the male idle over the female idle, which is still a bit weird. Women don't stand with legs far apart and broad shoulders.

Yes, they are client side only. Moving the root bone may actually move you ingame, but we're not sure right now because nobody has been willing to test that.

Do you have to load the file through the mod folder? Or can you just replace the file? Edit: Nevermind, I forgot about the checksum so I had to replace that, and for some reason my character was rotated 90 degrees and The sword was on the wrong side of the body, but besides that. I made progress! Edit 2: I just fixed some more things, but I've hit a wall, the sword goes to my back when the animation plays, any idea why?

I would say to just do it through Tweaker's mod folder. You can do it by hand, but Tweaker will help you not have to replace it every patch.

@@granvell619 I'm not sure right now. It may be to do with the animation having extra bones in it for the weapon, but I'm not sure.

@@Shadowth117 I've done some investigating, and it looks like just moving any of the bones on the model moves the sword to the root bone, I don't know why.
