They should've kept it simple like in pso 1. You just farm passive units and be done with it. Yeah I could buy the weapons off of player shops but there's no fun in that. I just hope later down the road they keep adding new weapons and units to the badges shop so players can have at least the bear minimum requirements for later content.

Thanks a ton for this, I'll watch more intently when I get home and try this on maybe a unit, if not a weapon. Summoner is weird. Essentially, I'd want to up the slots on an item until I get it to probably five, if not four, which seems to be the sweet spot for the augment transfer pass costs. Anything beyond that seems like it may be overkill. Is it possible to only use enough transfer passes to transfer four out of five augments, and keep say Might III from the original? That way I'd only be spending 5 passes instead of 15.

Great video! It helped a lot. I did run into an issue, where after going from 4 to 5 augments, the weapon no longer shows up in my available weapons to be augmented again, but it is still equipped on my character. Any idea what happened?

Tried upgrade 6 slot to 7 slot with 45 boost aid. Failed to 2 slotted. 85% by the way. Lets go bois.

hi there, i am new with this game... generally 9star below you mention dismantle, 10star excube or see market price, 11 star above keep.. for 9 star rarity with alot of augment like 7 or 8 do we dismantle it as well? or keep it?

Is there a reason why when I try to upslot my 3 augment homura jet boots+35 to 4 slots it only has a 60% chance, while at 3:58 for your video when I see you try to upslot your 3 augment weapon to 4 augments you have a 70% chance?

When you were up slotting were you using 2 fodders? (Using 2 fodders increases the chance!)

hey kero, i just got my ray katana to +35 and now i need to upslot it. Im planning on doing 5 slots (Astral Soul, Might 3, Spirit 3, Stamina 3, Mastery 3), my question is I'm upslotting it and dont use the SAF right away do i lose it? since at +35 the SAF is available and not actually ON it. Also not sure what the best way to get those augments on, wondering if i should level corresponding fodder to +35 that have those augments as SAF or js do it the nitty gritty way and get the ones i want on fodder and then put the final one on my ray?

1. You will not lose the SAF even if it is not an 'affix' on the weapon. Once the weapon is +35 it will automatically show up when you are combining the weapons together! 2. To answer your second question, I personally prefer the SAF method for weapons. But it may be more expensive, but you can get much better stats. 3. I personally would go (If I were to follow your recipe): Astral Soul (+35 Ray Weapon) Might 5 (+35 Sieger Blade/ Shield/ Javelin/ Archer) Stamina 4 (+35 Nox Cadina/ Sagephus/ Lexio) Spirit 4 (+35 Nox Destim, Dinas, Placis) Mastery 3 (+35 Deo Serravan/ Grevan)

@@keroppi thanks kero! yeah i think i'll just grind it out and use the SAF method (and use collection folder weapons as fodder), that way i can upslot freely. I think I'm going to go for 6 slots and add in flict arma, i have a ton of photon boosters lying around haha

Please .. if I may. Two doubts I had: 1. The weapons that were used to give the ability (affix). Are they excluded or do they just lose their ability to withdraw? 2. If I add 6 skills (affix) to it. Will she lose her native ability? How does it work with the weapon's own affix? Thankful.

Heya! To answer your questions. 1. The weapons used to give the affix will be lost during upslotting/ affixing. They are used as 'fodder' which in layman's terms mean that they will be consumed by the 'main weapon'. 2. When you add 6 affixes to your main weapon they will lose all of their 'original' affixes. Again in layman's terms the new affixes will overwrite the old ones.

First way is to farm Ultimate quests, you'll unlock them at lvl 70 (Besides ultimate amduskia you need 75 both main/subclass). It's a rare drop from anga phandaj. 2nd way (easier): now we have an ongoing event - arks boost rally. You can get rising weapon badge 3s from the amplified advanced quests. If you go to the quest counter you should see that option on the top. You convert those badges to rwb2s (2:1) to get ray units. It's 200 rwb2s per unit so you need 300 rwb3s to get the full set. As to where you can convert, it's where he went to get the augment aids on the 2nd floor of shopping plaza. You'll see one girl with badge exchange or something above their name, then select exchange rwb3

I have a question regarding enhancing units, why is it when I only use safe enhances at some point they fail? I’ve even used the enhancement booster with it and it still fails. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong

Hi Nicole! The english translations are a bit iffy~ but even though it says 'safe' there is still a chance for the item to fail. (Its weird i know!)

@@nicolestegman9016 i guess the word safe in this context means relatively safe. Like a safe bet in a casino game has an 80% chance of success but still has a 20% chance of failure.

Thanks for the vid. Been wondering if it was wiser to focus on increasing slots using "junk" augments and then swapping in the desired augments after rather than trying to gamble on increasing slot count whole adding desired (and sometimes very rare) augments. Thanks for clearing that up. And, I know it'll be the second time I've got hung up on something silly like this but there are two pronunciations for "affix" depending on whether it's being used as a noun or a verb. As you've been pronouncing it, where the first syllable is emphasized (I.e. A-fix, spoken similarly to apple) is the noun form (an addition). The verb form (meaning to attach something) has the emphasis on the second syllable (I.e.a-FIX, comparable to how one pronounces apply). Again I know it's a silly thing to get hung up on and English isn't the only language in which emphasis can change the meaning of a word it's just something that gets in my head and distracts me from the actual intended content. Anyway, keep up the good work and thanks again for this helpful and informative video.

Yes second item increse chance for sucess when you expand slots (3rd to 5th don't do it anymore). Also i think it should be mentioned in wideo to plan forward when you increse slots. You can make it, by use items with right (wanted) buffs from start. for example if you use just one items who have "might III" you have chance to get (numbers are with out reduce chance by extra slot): 100% "might I" and 60% "might III" if you use two items it make 80% for "might III" and 20% "might IV" three items = "might III" 100% and "might IV" 40%. So is much smarted to move on item affix when weapon have few slots and chance is hight (or use as base item with it) and all the time use 2 items with selected buff to keep it up. thx to that, ond end of work you don't need add 3rd weapon in upgrade slot to increse chance of succes (base item alredy have it) what make costs of end of day much less.

Your guide s are good but a lot of them tend to only apply to people who been playing since release. Not to people who just jumped on like a few months ago. You've got months worth of stuff stocked up making this easy and accessible. While people just getting their feet wet don't even have 1/2 of what you accumilated lol. Everything you're doing is hella expensive and requires materials that only start to really become available around level 55. I've been on for 2 months and i've been playing PSO since version 2.0 on sega dreamcast. So I kinda already got the hang of things. I made about 20 million just playing a lot. Half of that came from weekly quest offering 400K - 1 million after completion. That got used up pretty fast just off me enhancing, afixing, unveiling "?" rares etc etc. Gathering materials is even a pain in the ass because you need so much just to create 1 thing. It's hella time consuming too. Even using personal shops to get stuff is not tha big of a help. Because 70% of everyone is being unreasonable. I was looking for a element changer for dark. Everyone is selling these things for no less than 400k lol. Which is rare because most are 1 - 5 million smh.
