that first clip XDD I've had 4 spawn from point farming in alno rank 1, and I only got mastery 1's and 2's. :O Appreciate the info and tricks, Thrift! Great editing too hehe.

This is one of the things that’s pushing me toward quitting. I don’t have time for all this grinding and by proxy, I never have the meseta to get things I want. It sucks.

I can understand this. I personally don't enjoy the captan farm much. I personally really like doing rank 1 Retem Alnothe farming. Its guaranteed money (no selling required) and it nets you anywhere from 150k to 200k meseta hourly depending on how smooth your room is running. A few hours and I feel like i can afford AC items haha

@@Thriftshoppin Thank you for that advice. I’ll try doing that. I’ve never had a single Rellik weapon drop to this day and they keep adding these ridiculously rare things to the game. It’s like they take a step forward with the anniversary event feeling fun for a few hours, then the real grind is revealed and ruins it. Every time it feels like it’s changed for the better, there’s something to take it back. Just disappointing. 🤷 I hope they figure out a better balance soon.

Nope, any level trial can trigger a Captan farm, its just that most players are in Retem lobbies so thats where most farming occurs.

I'm lvl 20 and don't have Retem open up yet.. and I don't have any missions left that will give the Anniversary tickets so I thought if I could progress the main quest the seasonal/anniversary gal gave that I might get one.. didn't realize they wouldn't refresh daily so I fked up when i got 3 of those lvl 5 +50 armors finally replace my carry overs from Base PSO2. ;w; like it was only 3 tickets.. I was able to pick up /1/ of the better +50 armors, the tech one.

I like the deft farm because in the downtime when youre not getting captans, youre atleast getting defts ^.^

Agreed! Same for R1 Alnothe farming. I get about 150-200k Raw meseta hourly and if a captan decides to appear its just extra money

I would hope its a higher rate at higher ranked quests and combat zones. I would hope that for the current implimentation of exploration zone theres only .02% chance or so for a captain trial ! Rank 3 Retem Alnothe I've had multiple times where there have been 4 or so captain trials in a 30 minute time span. I wouldn't be surprised if room password changing gets a cooldown added, cuz imma just say its being abused :3.

Yep its a really popular farm. It can definitely be corrected if SEGA finds it to be too good for farming purposes.

The devs have said that cap has a higher spawn rate on higher ranks at least for lq, so the chances are it applies to combat sectors has well. We've been doing r3 combat zones and we are between 50 and 70 captain kills. i.imgur.com/0efQhTT.png

They are so rare! I did like 3 hours of R1 Alnothe farm and saw 2 LOL. But I just accept that they are rare and am happy when they do decide to show up~

I’ve ran 15 of these quests and haven’t seen a captan.

Rough!! I ran 8 rank 1's and saw none, did 4 on rank 3 and saw two. Im a believer of rank 3 runs now haha
