I advice to also try autohotkey application, it can for example simulate holding one key by only pressing it. And then releasing it after you press it again, perfect for arthritis as it does not make you keep holding key for prolonged time (for example something like autorun for games that does not have it)

The simplified movement could also be for people with disabilities. Often times weird/counterproductive stuff we see isn’t even made for able bodied people. This could help someone who necessarily can’t push the keys that fast( especially with the lag we have) could be the difference between being dead or not.

Logitech's now discontinued G13 keypad and their still in service G600 mmo mouse.. between the two I have 40 some single push buttons under my fingers. I have made some specific for swiping weapons, pallet bars and dodge combos.. but even with that the times my hands get less than cooperative I really think this "simple" mode can be of help so I'll make sure to give it a permanent home somewhere. :3 ♥

Using it on launcher is almost a death wish in boss fight, it will always use the launcher beam pa and you won't be able to movie and the boss can easily hit you.

I tried simplified movement on my force and it wasn’t for me, not that the AI didn’t function properly but compared to learning your damage rotations and elemental bullet counters for free extra damage the simplified movement just wasn’t doing the job when I actually really needed something dead. But it’s still a great thing to have for others none the less. Especially when you’re just looking to farm an area for PSE bursts and coast or someone with a disability that limits them. But not something I personally would be leaning on in a UQ or resol forest.

I'd imagine that's the intended effect. This may sound insensitive, but I believe simplified movement should not out-dps someone who plays the traditional way - simply because I feel the game should reward those go in-depth with the combat mechanics. Still, this feature does have its place as it provides stress-free control for those looking for it. Even the fact this feature is a button you can assign to the sub palette is several levels of brilliance in my opinion; you can have a palette that has traditional controls, then when you're feeling a bit tired or you want to go empty brain mode just move to a palette that has simplified movement assigned to your left click or something, so you can have your character still contribute moderate dps while giving yourself some rest.

I think its fine in the start of the game but for later higher levels, those who put the effort should be able to see the difference. In FFXIV we can make macros for everything, but its well know for attack and skill actions there is always a time delay. Even here in PSO2 NGS it should not be an overkill for those who take the time and out the effort to learn their skills.

I sub a while back when was returning to blade and soul, watching this channel and the second channel while the first channel got hack? , watching all new videos every day , religiously and this channel and content really helps me a lot, and I am forever grateful for that I'm now watching all these new New Genesis videos, cause I play PSO2 like years back, and feels like nobody is playing the game , back when Asiasoft handle the SEA server and really sad when they close the server down` now I'm thinking of playing the game, but since I play FFXIV online and ping is not an issue for me at least, really loving the story so far and already brought the complete edition so far the heavenward is really won me over, and the dark knight job quest is emotional I already lvl 70 , and hoping to reach the endgame, as soon as possible, but maybe I can try PSO2:NGS while waiting for endwalker

I always like the convenience of Simplified Movement and you can even tape down your mouse button if you want o fight afk with it. The only problem is that Simplified Movement lock-on behaves like my 1-week-old-lanrador retriever and doesn’t always target what you want it to which is annoying.

I've been using the lag to my advantage. (I know not the best thing but I'm bored of other games and entertainment right now.) When it lags such that the enemies are all frozen, I spam my strongest attacks that would normally get me hit.

wow i was actually wondering what this does but didn't bother to look up. This will help clear up my weapons pallet as I'm a Fi/Fo PC mainly using TD(BUt do plan to use knuckles more after I get a good one). I have a rod Subbed to my TD and do switch if I'm against flying boss types, fast moving ones, Always moving ones and I don't have enough movement to chase them and to want to maintain at least a bit of DPS not just running around like a headless chicken. Thing is I'm not the best person to remember a lot of things. once in a UQ with nex vera I press the wrong button and casted ice instead of lightning as the buttons were sitting beside each other and kinda forgot which one especially in the heat of a fight. This helps a lot I'll just have two buttons for switching melee and tech(with simplified movement). Although I will still play manually with melee fights since I need to think about my WA s

What happens if you got a multi-weapon and use that action? Like if you got a rod + rifle, would it say "tecs sucks, I'll always use rifle"? I guess if you do make a rod + sword or something you could get a much better time as then being far away would be tecs and close up it would be melee attacks.

Great question! I think it will default to your main weapon and only cast PA’s and Techs on that. However I have not tested this.

Yeah, I said it before too. You can still do some crazy combo with the smart PA. The game is still new so nobody knows how it works yet. Once we know the trick it won't be as bad as you think.

Sadly there is no way to customise the rotation for Simplified Movement. It will cast all the techniques/ PA's that you have available regardless if it is on your skill bar or not.

Lol ty your vid are the most helpful my gf was using it and I tested it, using it with basic attack and gunner dodge skill as my main 3 attacks allows my super charges to be in my other 3 attacks with the cool kick pp build up move all characters get made playing gunner way funner and see its potential in other classes but my forcer I will play manually with fast switch to weakness

Simplified Movements loss the traits for PAs to "Hold to Charge", it's just direct use. It's still quite fun, Hunter's Skills has an ability to negate incoming damage when releasing PAs, just taunt foes around and counter with SM, it kinda felt better than having to time perfect guard when all foes are targeting you. But then again, timing perfect guard doesn't requires PP, SM requires PP.

It's a bug and it affects accessories, foliage, random objects around the game, and enemies. It's likely not going to be fixed anytime soon since it seems to only affect the global PC version. To fix it, you have to switch to a PSO2 block and then back to NGS at a Ryuker Device. You have to do this every time you play the game. Alternatively, start in PSO2 and switch to NGS when you first login for the day.

I think it works for some classes and not for others. It doesn't seem to work well for gunner as it tends to kills your chain early. I think on force and ranger it actually works really well. I think for most melee it would be fine for using on trash mobs but It might not be ideal on a boss because it could lock you into a longer animation.

Oh this is sweet. Built in combat rotations. I'm super fuukin lazy and have no interest in optimizing rotations, and I'm honestly a bit of a retard when it comes to MMORPGS. I need simple games where all my buttons can fit into like 5 side mouse buttons. None of this FFXIV shenanigans where you have to have 30 skills on your bar. Or rotate through 50 different palletes. I could only play Summoner on base PSO2 because it was pretty simple and I didn't have to macro swap all the time.
