@keroppi you need to update about purchase of the cards. You CAN purchase the cards by simply going to the AC store and look for the line strike vouchers. You can then roll as much cards as you want. However I don't think most people would buy it. Please make this correction before confusion. thanks

I'm late but I literally didn't login for ages till Line Strike came out and I've done nothing but play it for past few hours. Good game. Hunting for the Shiva card, it must exist.

Unfortunately I think if you could see the Line Strike monitors you'd have people cheating by loading up a second character and looking at their opponent's screen. I also don't understand why we can't have urgent quests schedules permanently. I used to plan my day around them, for instance I'd do the UQ at a certain time, go do something else for a few hours, and then come back for the next one. Now, I just log in once a day and hope a UQ pops up while I'm playing which is a little frustrating, especially when there are tasks to complete them.

This Line Strike game reminds me of Cardfight Vanguard where you can call units and ride on top of units. Btw, a tip for building a deck is make sure to have all cards in the deck on the same color/element (red fire, blue ice, yellow lightning etc) as much as possible

My current strat for Line Strike is: pass the first turn, sacrifice whatever line your opponent targets first and use your now 6 tokens to obliterate the other two lines while he's at a disadvantage. I won every game both against NPCs and players I used that strat against. You may exploit it for easy wins while everyone haven't started doing it too.

My biggest disapointment with line strike is actually the NPC battles. I had hoped we were going get to talk to actual NPCs in the game mode and challenge them to a battle. I was thinking triple triad from FF8. It seems a waste to have it all behind a sub menu. It would have given a bit of life to the game world. I ran around first talking to NPCs hoping this was the case. :(

You can get up to 300 vouchers by completing the first two Task from Violetta and winning in Unranked for the first time(Which I somehow managed to) and just roll 30 times and you'll hopefully lucky enough to have some cards to play together for a start. Build your deck around these first I suppose.

Im not as enthusiastic about line strike as I was before. Just listening to the PSO EP3 music in the background, I feel like SEGA missed the opportunity to make something more in depth. Just bring us a card only version of PSO EP3.

It’s kinda sad when you can run through this game and get to max level within a couple weekends. I even went the extra mile and went for 10 star wep and had it maxed in another weekend put like 70hrs in done with everything.

You people are irritating. All MMO/action RPGs need other kinds of content. And if you actually paid attention, you’d know no development time was sacrificed for Line Strike to be made. So your point is moot. Enjoy the content you like, or go play another game.

I did not like it! I just played this card game, and well I realized that it is very P2W (Play to Win), so Forget it! I am not good with cards, let alone with a system like this! But, if it's for collecting, you can play against the NPC on beginner difficulty until you get used to it and maybe play against other people! But overall, this game mode is quite unnecessary! In my opinion, of course!

At least it's not that tedious in the grand scheme of things. But yeah card games are just not everyone's cup of tea anyways. Most TCGs are PayToWin too mostly but I get what you mean. This one do depend on your luck of the draw to either start with a great deck or wait to draw better ones later.
