Just started playing pso2 again, did some luciel got 2 xover bows one with a color change and a katana. Started adding augys wheres the spot to farm augment capsules is it just luciels or is there a way to target farm?

Hello and welcome back to the game! So in regards to augments, LC Augs are kind of your go-to augments to get you going. As, they're free & easily accessible. However, they're far from optimal if you're running nothing but LC augments. There are craftable augments that you can find at the enhancement NPC, under the bottom option of exchange for augments. Those top like 5 or 6 augments are pretty much your high end augments right now. (Lux Halphinale, Glan Gigas Maste, Gladia Soul, Grand Dread Keeper, etc). Rule of thumb is that you want augments that are above 3.0%. You don't generally want to go below 3.0% unless it's a Grand Dread Keeper. Cheap augments that you can use right now, while they do have negative effects, they will get your potency up and put you in a better position competitively, would be the Triyal series augments. There are three of these augments, all beginning with the name Triyal. You can look them up by typing Triyal into the Personal Shop. They all have 3.5% potency (try to avoid the one that gives you negative PP, as PP is very important) & should be dirt cheap. All three of these can be equipped on the same piece together. Though as I mentioned, be careful, as they do have negative stats, and most the numbers in this game are multiplicative. Which means those negative stat numbers add up very high very quickly. So possibly try to mix some of those higher LC augs such as Gladia Soul LC & Halphinale LC with some of those Triyals. See what you can get working on a budget. Keep in mind that most the values in this game are multiplicative, so those potency numbers add up. You should want your potency to be at least in the 160s idealistically. This is an extreme low end & there's other factors involved, but we'll cross that bridge when the time comes, as to not confuse you. Hopefully this response helped! Hello! Thanks for your input! There have been plenty of confirmed LC Wingard drops in Global servers after this initial drop was first documented from JP side. Actually had a close buddy have a Wingard Katana drop from Leciel the other day! Happy hunting!

The problem: Rare Drop rate system The solution: like Rayaar and Xover weapon series, BIS shouldn't be sellable in the Market place for players to profit on. One thing I will agree on is the lazy player base whining, but at the end of the day regular casual players who want to hit as hard as possible are the ones suffering. And the whales of NGS are eating good cause they sunk thousands of dollars into the game.

Hello and thanks for the input! Whales are going to eat good regardless. In any game you play. Literally any MMO you play that has anything that can be purchased with real world money & has a market system, whales will eat. That's just how that one works & has always worked. That being said, whales aren't guaranteed to obtain a Wingard. Wingard drops do not discriminate lol. So there's people who are not whales who are getting it. If they sell it, they so decide to sell it. For instance, I know someone who got the Flugelgard series to drop when it was first released, who is a a non-premium F2P player. They made 300-400M off of it. I, "technically" am F2P, however I receive Premium every month, as I'm an NGS Official Creator. I do not however gain the mass meseta perks that whales get from going crazy on AC Scratches & selling items. I'm instead, the person who buys the AC Scratch items that I want, with meseta I've earned through playing the game. I also indeed, like you, don't have any issues with non-tradeable weapons and wouldn't mind the best stuff not being tradeable. That being said, Xover and Reyaar are great weapons and more than enough to get you where you need to go. As well as the Flugelgard. So we have these options that enable the player base to readily put time towards obtaining things such as the Wingard. I think one of the issues that gets people in trouble is they do the "Oh, it's this weapon. Or it's this armor. Well I guess I'll just wait around for the next stuff in 2 months then I'll upgrade to that". But by doing that, you just put yourself behind & waste time that could've otherwise been used to prepare for the transition. So then when the time comes around, they find themselves in this hole & now everything feels overwhelming because they didn't manage their time better. I think we see this a lot in the game, but that's on the individual.

I mean tbf if people are lazy they are just lazy. I’m not a whale by far but I have 177.7 pot and 71.2 floor and multiple weapons with great fixas 2-4. MMOs will always have some sort of rdr system that boils down to simple luck. The problem with ngs is majority treat it like a social hub until the fomo for the next best thing drops.. then they look up and realize they aren’t strong enough and whine. Player market def needs a rework, BiS augs were always sellable even before ngs.. difference is you didn’t have to craft them. You could just farm for the best augs, that is what should change. Also adding more methods for f2p players to actually make a decent amount of money a week like in base pso2. I feel that would get people moving again but for now majority would rather sit in lobby and complain.

honestly with how little people grind the stuff to farm for mats to make augs i dread everytime new weapons come lol im so broke its not even funny, especially with no sub

If you're short on money, I believe Dext Base farm is still very popular right now! You can make millions this way, so be sure to check it out! Choose a good AoE class (preferably Waker, but other AoE classes like Force are great for PSEs as well) & join the fray!

Ya know if sega made weapons that actually felt like inherently powerful weapons regardless then these "new" weapons would be cooler... I'm not even going to farm for this because by the time I can even afford to boost it to +80 the 12 star weapons that will be a fraction better will be available when we get to go back to firelands 2.0.
