5:17 Learn more about psoriasis!
I’ve covered natural remedies for psoriasis before, but I’m always on the lookout for additional ways to help people.
I recently found a new natural remedy that I’m excited about, and you may want to talk to your doctor about it.
With psoriasis, a person has an accelerated growth rate of certain skin cells. This can cause redness and dry flaking patches of skin.
There is a high association between gut problems and psoriasis. There is also a high association between joint problems and psoriasis.
It’s thought that people with psoriasis have a problem with a very important structure in the skin called GAG.
NAG (n-acetyl glucosamine) is a precursor or building block for GAG. Some interesting data shows that NAG can improve psoriasis. It may also help with gut problems and joint problems.
If you’re going to try this remedy, consider taking 1,000 to 2,000 mg over time.

I began Psoriasis during the Covid time.. I went in Keto, intermittent fasting, I took Zink, VitD3 + Vit K2/ MK7, Mg, Cod liver oil, Co Q10, Vit C, Zeolith and some others supplements, I bought a flat at the beach, began swimming and walking with the foot in the sea water, total over 4 hours every day, and Psoriasis is gone... I had psoriasis over 20 years ago. I had it from eating dairy and bad food in general. Leaving away the dairy didn't help but fasting did. I'm glad I had a real doctor back then. Of course I had to pay him by myself, the social security don't cover something that helps people. After the fasting I could eat dairy again and whenever my skin got worse I just reduced dairy. I never drank milk again though. Reducing refined sugar and grains to a minimum is what kept me healthy as well, probably.

My personal experience was by 3 main things I focused on: 1- less sugar in all foods 2-relaxing and take things easy, no stress at all. 3- fasting, Ramadan helped amazingly and I continue doing fasting every Monday and Thursday. Even if no full fasting on Monday and Thursday, but I drink water when I need, and only one meal morning or afternoon, and the other light meal evening, and mostly focusing on vegetable in the evening meal. And all gone the dryness on my face and legs. P.s, I Applied a mixture of ( olive oil, honey and turmeric) only when am home, for comfort

My psoriasis has never been severe; although I've noticed it in my teens. Never had plaques but after the stress of surviving hurricane Ian it's been trying to be an issue on my scalp. Also have had mild thyroid symptoms over the years that now that I'm in my early 70`s my hair is thinning & never had much eyebrows & my skin has always been dry. Keto has been my friend in loosing my Covid weight after I finally retired at 70. OMAD came easily & by accident; then I saw the fasting videos & realized it was a good thing !!! I walk 2 to 3 miles every day but haven't done any work outs in years because I actually had a "physically active" job. I'm getting my supplements now from you & I'm grateful for your quality products!!! My gut seems healthy; I prefer to eat a lot of greens, fresh eggs & vegetables with meat a few times a week. Just started the sea kelp, getting your trace minerals this week. My problem is in occasional dizziness. Vertigo was an issue but since my walks include "star gazing " that's about gone although I have one eye astigmatism & one eardrum perforation, So I'm wondering if dizziness is just a Thing I'll have to deal with. I don't take any medication & BP is normal. Oh well. I've learned more from your videos & I'm truly grateful that you give us this information !!! I'm hoping if I give it some time the supplements will gradually improve things; I've already seen a change for the better in the last 4 months. Thank you so much !!!

The comments sections are absolute gold and filled with stories of healing!!

As far as your hair thinning, not have much eyebrows, dry skin, etc. that could potentially be related to thyroid which is usually related to other things which can often include iodine deficiency. Dr Berg has some videos on it and another great resource is Dr. David Brownstein.

I was diagnosed with upper and lower ulceric colitis. I was a longtime big user of Splenda. I went cold turkey on Splenda and sugar. No more intestinal issues. I quit bread and my really bad dandruff and itchy scalp disappeared. It's amazing how much food at the store is actually unhealthy to consume. I still get this blistering that flares up on the bridge and left side of my nose. It doesn't hurt at all. But it looks really bad. Usually cover it with a bandaid. I get this once, sometimes twice a year. It takes about two weeks to totally heal. I have noticed faster healing with extra vitamin c and calcium supplements. I also heal faster when I apply Povidone-iodine to the area once a day with a swab. Have no clue what causes this skin flare up. The body can be a real mystery sometimes😺

Had psoriasis for 20 years; absolutely terrible. Strict keto, low carb, and fasting (extended fasting 3-7 days) several times a year almost completely healed my skin. Had a very light flare-up about a month ago. Coffee, rooibos tea (not green tea), and wine are BIG triggers for psoriasis (for me, at least). I had too much coffee yesterday and have a new spot this morning😮‍💨. So back to fasting for a couple of days (water only).

MY daughter was at the point where the dermatologist wanted to put her on biologics, a monthly injection for the rest of her life. They totally downplayed the side effects. Nasty. Our NP put her on a leaky gut supplement, omega3, vitamin d cream, and we had already cut down on sweets. Within weeks her skin is clear. She keeps a regular diet, just don't overdo the sweets. Amazing improvement. Just mad at the dermatologist for having no other solution than a very expensive monthly shot with potentially serious side effects and no exit strategy.

When I lived by the sea I never had psoriasis and when I moved suddenly I had spots around my ankles. I made a solution of sea salt and water and applied to affected areas and let the sun do the rest. Granted, I may have had something else going on but it has be 2 decades and no reoccurrence. Just putting it out there…

Did you see a change quite quickly when you started to use the Salt water mix? Just asking as I live by the sea and someone suggested I try it a long while ago but I don’t recall it doing anything. I just used it neat. Maybe I should try it again and mix a little water with it

Very interesting! I always research new remedies and supplements to help different ailments. Never had psoriasis myself so cannot speak from personal experience but there is research that the green hulls of black walnuts help with it. My friend had psoriasis of the scalp and i told her to use black walnut on the scalp topically and she said it went away. Maybe coincidence but if someone suffers from it maybe can give it a try as well, it’s inexpensive

I was born with it. Through the yrs, my psoriasis goes through stages. Really bad in my teens and 20's then calm. Have flairs randomly now. I noticed mine was always associated with my hair. My scalp would have thick clumps of crusty skin. I shaved my head and was able to apply medicine to my head and got that cleared up. Tight socks sometimes seem to break me out sometimes. I've got PsA (psoriatic arthritis). I've never found Anything that fully works.

I watched a video and they said that there's two approaches to gut issues. One is the bottom up approach which means you work on the stomach which helps the body up to the brain. And the other is your work from the top down. Which means you work from the brain to the gut. If the gut is deficient, you must use probiotics and prebiotics including kefir and sauerkraut. If you work on the brain, you have to start with the B1....

And my psoriasis is completely gone. But i must say, if i don't keep up my regiment of mother's apple cider vinegar in my water twice a day everyday, i feel them old spots get ichy. I’d initially started the ACV because of acid reflux and found after 3 to 4 weeks my psoriasis was getting significantly better,it cleared completely after 3 to 4 months, put ACV in a glass with some water and drink once in the morning and once before bed.God bless and good luck.

People staying there for 1 week get cured. Very saline sea water, rich sand and lots of sun. They basically swim all day long and cover their bodies with its sand; and that's it. I’m not sure that it ever really goes away; I had really bad psoriasis over 50 years ago, as a result of a near fatal road accident. A Homeopath gave me arnica, which apparently worked particularly because my psoriasis was the result of sudden shock… It mostly cleared up within four days, and I was virtually clear within two weeks… Now 50 years later, there is still a visible, dormant small flaky patch on one knee, but at one time I was losing, nearly a square foot of skin every day, in several places where I had wounds. Yes, sunshine and salt water, as well as pink germolene all help the symptoms to diminish.

@izzie I've also heard it's connected to your tonsils also. I had tonsillitis at 16, swollen tonsils ever since. But apart from that my health is fine. I exercise 6 times a week , quite strong and muscular, but just this damn psoriasis!.

@@Pacer... I was only 24, and super healthy and fit when I got it as a result of a motorbike accident; the Homeopath explained that it is usually the result of stress, either sudden, or long-term… And they give different remedies, depending on the cause. My doctor was useless, just giving me betnovate to rub on! I did that, also (later) with germolene which was better… but the arnica did the remedy for me (about 3 months after the accident, when he diagnosed me).
