Sulfasalazine helped my SI joint pain while I adjusted my diet (GF, DF whole food plant based, wild game and chicken or fish and eggs) and began Florastore probiotics. When I took Taltz, I became sick every week after my injection for three months straight. I switched to methotrexate and wanted to die from the depression, anxiety, total lack of appetite and increased blood sugar. I used to teach yoga and build strength specifically in my quads, glutes & between the shoulders and lengthened the hip flexors. Your content is a blessing, Doctor! There is plenty of research on the gut microbiome and klebsiella... can you go into this in another video?!

I am taking sulfasalazine, methotrexate, folic acid, naproxen and omeprazole nothing works. I even tried moringa it didn’t work I don’t know what to do I have a pain everyday and now I’m relying on apple cider vinegar and I don’t even know if that’s going to work.

@@ultrakoichi frozen veggies, rice, meats are all accessible and reasonably priced options. Eliminating processed foods is essential too. We cook the same five meals each week, chicken soup, venison chili, cabbage and peas w chicken, peppers and sausage with rice, roast chicken w/ potatoes & broccoli (which allows us to make bone broth for free!)

I have red type of small blisters in my scalp , plus finger tips are numbness,tingling,pain also alot of pain in the joints through out my body l have flu like symptoms , chronic fatigue , brain fog l have had these symptoms for many years l am now 731/2 years old now and doctors have never taken the time to get to the bottom of it Thanking you on your own input . 🙏

@@lorainedelaney1753 I would love to have the pleasure of going to him because here in the states our rheumatologist are horrible. They have never taken x-rays MRIs nothing you ask them a question they won’t answer you. All they do is push the drugs and never once told to exercise stretch or take any form of vitamins. We got a very sad medical situation here in the US.

Can you move to the US and teach our doctors a thing or two? Been suffering since a child, can barely walk and doctors have gaslighted me ever since, no formal diagnosis therefor no effective treatment for me :(

Im 55yrs F with psoriasis arthritis taking methotrexate . Its dose is increasing but no significant improvement in my hand joints swelling. I have been taking methotrexate for last 3 years. Additionaly taking folic acid Vit D too. Please let me advise for better treatment. My physically i have moderate overweight. Sangita

I have this in many joints for at least ten year's, my doctor never recommended a rheumatologist once! i got rid of him a couple of weeks ago as a result of his complete incompetence, i have given up entirely on allopathic doctors and their 'treatments' so i'm going the homeopathic route now as a last resort.

Is it possible to get mild PsA in one joint without showing signs of psoriasis? I have wrist pain and inflammation across the wrist and nowhere else in the hand as well as tennis elbow which came after (have had that before but this time is more painful). Wrist pain is towards thumb side on top, left hand, and makes my hand tilt pinky side (ie hand isn't inline with arm and hurts trying to tilt toward thumb). Wrist xray, ultrasound, and MRI show bones are fine, no wear or arthritis, and no signs of tendon tears, etc. Slight negative ulnar variance. Osteo consultant referred me to a rheumatologist as he thought the inflammation was coming from the bone. Bloods are negative for CCP, rheumatoid factor, ANCA, CTD. Normal or negative for kidney liver function, uric acid and CRP. My rheumatologist suspected PsA but apart from slightly dry skin on occasion there are no signs of psoriasis. He injected 40mg Depomedrone which had no effect at all apart from mood swings. I'm a bit hesitant to go on a DMARD when the diagnosis is inconclusive. A physio found an old tear/scar on a forearm muscle with an ultrasound as well as a lot of tension. He thinks it could be the tight and scar restricted muscle sending the tension to the connection points at wrist and elbow. Nothing is really helping though and it's difficult to know next steps.

Thank you for this informative video Dr Khan. After the death of my mother from MND almost five years ago I began to experience a pain in my sacroiliac region. My lower back and hips became unbearably stiff and painful, one of my thumbs became oddly thick and painful and my foot and ankle swell terribly and are incredibly painful. I have a flaky rash on my scalp (on and off ) and have been given FML eye drops for severe dry eye. I have been told that PSA cannot affect joints in the pattern in which mine have and that it is normal for women in their 40's to feel dreadful. I don't know what to do. My joints are failing and I'm at the end of tether. I am 46 years old and have the strength of a 95 year old. I'm on FML long term for my eyes which has helped. Other than that I have been given a link to a meditation website but sitting for half an hour hurts too much. Do you have any advice at all? Thank you.
