PSP 3000 Bricked Fix Byron Sweeper

Cool to see a Baryon Sweeper unbrick in the wild. Those dual SD card adapters are garbage. If you're curious what happened the first time, basically only early versions of the PSP-3000 support homebrew Magic Memory Sticks, like DDCv9. All 3000's support using official unbrick software from Sony though, like what you used.

Instead of sacrificing a working batery, if you have a charger, you can use twist ties to connect the circuit to the charging pins (making a loop or a hook around each pin)

Can you please advise on what you did to get the memory card flashed with the correct software you said dc9 didnt work so what did you do to get it flashed with the correct software on the microsd and how did you do it

ive unbricked so many psp with the solderless method, it looks way more easy. you dont need any battery. :D

If my psp was bricked due to the tampering with the flash files, can this still restore the console?

I think so, the process is for fixing a corrupt flash on a PSP and it just force flashes the firmware so it should work in that scenario

Yes. Flash0 corruption can only be restored through factory service mode. Baryon Sweeper and magic memory sticks make it possible to enter and take advantage of this mode.

I also got a bricked psp 3000 which im trying to unbrick but I dont got the bench power supply is there any other way I could put more power to the psp cause i think thats why its not turning on

I believe you can just use the AC adapter to power the unit as well, I tried that at one point, but my main issue was making the right SD card, so I had gone back to the bench power supply when I finally got it

yeah I had the white one as well and it caused nothing but problems. I took a guess that the adapter was an issue and bought the black one, so I would suggest the black sd adapter. Good luck !

Will it work without external battery power supply? I mean Only on usb to ttl or with original power supply connected?

Yes it should, the offical github instructions say in step 2 "You can omit an external battery if you power your PSP with a DC charger" github.com/khubik2/pysweeper I know not everyone has a bench power supply.

Please anyone can help, JigKick Media Creator do not work for me, After presing start media creation button , start to work an display beginning installation and then crashing, tried 3 different PC win 10, win 11, simply refuse to work, any help please, hardware part it's working ok for me, amy clue tried memory card adapter, original mamory cards, PSP same results, or any other way to create memory card.

The only issues I had were I could never get a real Sony memory stick to work, which is why I switched to the SD card adapter. With the SD card adapter I had to switch off quick format. It takes longer to format depending on the size of the SD card. Maybe give that a try.

you can use an SD adapter, they are very inexpensive on amazon. I will have a couple new videos soon on making the Battery adapter and the memory card, it has just taken a while.

Check the settings of your TTL device, the one I got had a set of switches to change the mode. Make sure it is in usb-ttl mode

sorry for the late reply, if you see the codes it means you don't have the right software yet, the easiest way is to get the same SD card adapter I got and use that when making the memory stick. The try DDC again and see if it works, if not make a jig kick clone. You got the hardware side working you just need the right software.
