😭 how nostalgic! I remember how many psp 1000 i dismanteled back in thise days to fix stick drift. Also, repiring a damaged psp using other dead psp's parts, we had to manage by ourselfs in Cuba since there's no dedicated store or workshop to do this kind of repairs. We became good doing it so!!

It was often disassembled when the stick was repaired. Wow!
Whoah. So you don't have to solder and short two pins for it to work? I have seen other guides that show you have to solder the PSP otherwise the image shifts up.

That's why solder was for that. thanks. I didn't know because such a phenomenon did not occur with my UMD. Thanks 🙇♂️

@@hijiquish I did not see you do soldering when you were installing the IPS screen. Do you have to short two pins for the screen to work?

@@cemsengul16 PSP 100x motherboards are different, there are models TA-079, TA-081, TA-082, and the TA-086 (defenitive), some require to solder a jumper wire neaby the screen connector, to fix the IPS screen stretch (vertical stretch) use the time/date, and battery capacity icon from the top-right corner of the screen as a rough help when power on. if they go slight beyond off the display, means you need to solder a jumper to the screen connector. Mine, happened with the TA-079 motherboard (earliest revision of the motherboard) and I had to solder a jumper.
