I don't actually love EVERY console I own, believe it or not. There are a few really old ones that I'm kinda 'meh' on... and not every Nintendo console is my favorite either. But if I take the time to make a series of videos on a console...then you know I like it a lot :)

Boba Squid I bought a used 3000 last week, it came with a memory stick/sd card adapter and an 8gb sd, the screen is awesome. And the stereo speakers are very great, you can clearly hear the left/right sounds separately, something i didnt get much with my Xperia Play, although I think its something more with the way the games are developed, and not the speakers themselves. I'm currently playing the Dept Heaven series starting from Riviera, Breath of Fire 3 and Blaz Blue CS2
@bobasquid33397 жыл бұрын
Denis Franco Nice score! Breath of Fire, is that the JP version or download from PSN , PS1 version? The nostalgia is strong with PSP for sure! Cya!

As convenient as downloads can be, as a Collector I much prefer to own the physical game. I like manuals, real discs and box art...and I know I'll be able to get the game to run in 5, 10 or 15 years.

I just bought a PSP 3000 two days ago from my local retro game store and then went back yesterday to pick up their copy of Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. It set me back a decent amount, but was well worth it to get back into the PSP ecosystem. I've had two PSP systems in years past but never actually got into the library as I was pretty young and not "in the know" when it came to the widespread libraries of games. Now that I am older and have done the research on which games are out there for it, I am happily beginning the PSP game collection to go along with the rest of the PlayStation family! So many RPGs!
@morsecode980 Жыл бұрын
Same here. I wish I was older when I had a PSP back in the day and actually understood how everything worked. This thing was a beast when it was still supported. I’d love to be able to still use the store and play multiplayer

Gladiator Begins is the BEST PSP game that nobody's heard of. Survive in the arenas of ancient Rome, learn fighting moves associated with 4 different styles (small shield/single sword, large shield, dual weapon & pugilist (fist weapons)), strike weapons and armor from you opponents to collect if you win the match and refine them to make better gear for yourself. Pick a patron and work through the story associated with him/her. Buy your freedom or continue to become the champion of the arena or help an aspiring emperor defeat his rival to the throne. But the game is about combat and Gladiator Begins delivers a terrific and brutal fighting system to the PSP. Highly recommended!

@onandonandomnom9 жыл бұрын
+DoyleDoesGaming I found a good psp game. It's not turn based depending on how you think about it, it's called no heroes allowed and it's where you build a dungeon full of monsters, and make an ecosystem for the monsters to survive, to fight the heroes that come.

Hahahahahhahah Lol! Looks like you've never played any call of duty game before, Call of Duty Declassified is considered as the worst COD game , my friend has it on vita , he says it was a waste of money. Instead of Assassin's Creed Liberation which is a good game , not great game , what if Vita got port of Assassin's creed 4? That would have been better , of course! Uncharted Golden Abyss is a cool game but seriously , is that all for what you're gonna get a vita? I think its a shame that PSP got a lot more major stuff than vita. Look , psp got WWE games , Naruto games , Tekken games etc. Vita has no Resident evil , Tekken , WWE , NBA ans Naruto games. They are completely missing. Watch "Extra Credits , why the vita failed" on youtube :)

Your point about prices is spot-on MJ. Some really great games are only available on disc and didn't make the jump to the PSN. To wit; Lumines 1 & 2, Gradius Collection, The Warriors, Tenchu Shadow Assassins, Sid Meir's Pirates (plays almost exactly like the version I played on my Apple //c with better graphics!), Hot Shots Golf 1 & 2, Panya (another anime inspired golfing game). Game stores have cut the prices on UMD games drastically and once they're gone, you'll be paying collector prices.
