The last update to Adobe Premiere 2020 screwed some things up for me (editing/exporting) so sorry about some of the strange glitches in this Viewer Takeover. Hopefully they'll have it cleared up by next week! :D

This effect requires GPU acceleration, Bry. It looks fine and was obviously working, but it requires GPU acceleration.

The bug that came with the newest update required GPU acceleration to be turned off as a workaround. There's a few other less obvious glitches with the video but only someone as anal as me would notice most of them

I'm a huge Walking Dead fan, and one of my favorite VR moments ever came from Saints and Sinners. I was caught in the middle of a faction war between Reclaimed and the Tower. I killed around 5 people using my hunting rifle, and I ended up being the last one left. While reloading my rifle, I was suddenly surrounded by my former enemies who turned into walkers due to their brains not being destroyed on death (we're *ALL* infected..). I fought my way out of that mess with a knife and fire axe. It was such a "Walking Dead" moment and being able to play that in VR was something else.

It's definitely the melee system that sets it apart. This is the only VR game that doesn't save you with slow motion or constantly available weaponry. As a diehard fan of both TWD TV show and game, I can wholeheartedly say that this game captured how I believed I'd feel fighting walkers. the frantic nature of being hoarded, the rush of using Lucille, and the bleak environment always looking around making sure youre not snuck up on. This is in no way perfect, but it proved that psvr is FAR more capable than some of these devs give it credit for.

To answer the title, yes. It's the first 2nd Gen VR title on the platform. It's the first to feature more realistic physics and it's the most complete gameplay concept. This is the first step into the next gen of VR on PlayStation. Expect more games, announcements and overall cool stuff as we approach the launch of PS5. Can't wait for Iron Man. That will be the next one.

Just got my psvr yesterday for quarentine and i was more blown away then I thought i was going to be. I played a few games like blood and truth and no mans sky and it was really insane. Then i tried saints and sinners and was astounded at how fun and immersive it was. Hey guys, so, as I’m sure y’all know, most game systems don’t hit their stride till the 2nd to 3rd year of release, when developers have had time to really learn the system, and find new ways to dramatically improve performance and visual fidelity. The psvr seems to be hitting its stride now with games like Saints and Sinners, but that has me a little bit concerned. The ps5 is coming out later this year, and sometime around the corner from that is going to be psvr 2. I for one am not going to be able to afford the ps5 on release, let alone with a new vr unit as well, so, my concern is that developers will abandon the psvr once the new system is out at a time when they’ve finally started learning how to beat utilize the system. Am I alone in that concern? #viewertakeover

Hi guys. As a day one adopter I championed PSVR for months but my initial enthusiasm began to wane to the point where I very nearly traded the system. Instead it sat on my entertainment unit gathering dust. Astro Bot Rescue Mission and Blood & Truth reignited my interest for a while. The prospect of Sniper Elite VR is the only thing that has kept me from giving up on PSVR. Then along comes TWD Saints and Sinners. I dismissed it when I learned it was move controls only. Then I watched DaveStation playing the game. To call TWD S&S a breath of fresh air is an understatement. The controls are as accessible as they can be given the fact ps moves are not fit for purpose. The game design, loot/craft, unlock, level up, is balanced by the way resources dwindle and undead increase with every new day. I’m a few hours in and despite getting nauseous due to my lack of time in the headset recently I’m going to stick with the game. It deserves my time as well as my money. I’m not even a fan of TWD programs but would definitely recommend Saints and Sinners.

One thing I wish Saints and Sinners had was being able to manually save mid mission. Because I can't always commit to beating a whole level in one sitting. Especially because this is the kind of game where I want to take my mind and be methodical. Otherwise great game!

You guys know I rate this game 10/10 and takes No1 spot fully. However.... I'm not sure if this is just a base PS4 issue, but I had a horrendous issue at The Ward where NPCs that were fighting me were so abundant, that they just appeared from nowhere all around me. It meant I had no idea where I was being shot from or where to attack. I think the base system has a hard time with too many NPCs to render

Same thing happened to me. I walked into a perceivably empty building only to be riddled with bullets by enemies that slowly popped into existence. To be fair, it hasnt happened again since patch 1.03 dropped.

There are supposed leaks sorrounding RE8 also being PSVR and suggesting that it'll be the scariest RE game yet. Maaan can't wait for that! Leaks are suggesting werewolf-like creatures will play a role. Werewolves in VR is definitely something I'm looking forward too. If the controls are anything like RE7, I'll be satisfied. It can't come anything close to the interactions of Saints and Sinners, but as long as it provides that itch for something truly terrifying, I'll be more than happy to be on board.

I had a great time beating the game. I didn't play how I should have probably so I felt short on resources nonstop til the end but if i can have any complaints besides how short it is, is how every area is pretty much the same. Same buildings, different layout, same go here... kill a bunch of people and zombies, get something, go back. A city area, swamp, big hospital, sewers, etc. is not THAT unique but would have been nice to see as maybe some of the various areas we had access to. They had us in a graveyard alot of the time, what a perfect spooky area...right? Not this time sadly =/

As someone who has played almost every PSVR game, this one is an easy recommend. As far as graphics go like the previous person mentioned it's in a comic style. Even with the OG PS4 we haven't seen a single game using this art style come anywhere near as blurry and jaggy as NMS. It's pretty clear actually and a great looking game. Much better looking than Contagion VR Outbreak.

Saint and sinners is great and at the same time it lower the bar for one of the worst loading screen management on psvr. We do not want long 2d loading screen in a vr game anymore :)) Farpoint is the standard for good practice in vr with the game loading while you are in vr !!

This is what is really annoying me about the PSVR,,,i bought 3 months ago for 250 pounds,,then find out they make games that dont work on ps4 controller,,no,,you have to use ps3 controllers that cost 100 pounds 2nd hand or 150 new if you can find some as Sony dont make them anymore,,,,would love to buy Saints and Sinners but cant play it,,,same for my brother,,,,Seems odd that they do this and i refuse to pay the money for old controllers,,,why didnt they make new ones for ps4,,,not a big issue but making a game move controllers only you lose a lot of customers that want and would of bought it.

There’s no legal age to play VR, just a recommended age from the manufacturer.
