@@Nytrusdeathcyde the problem with making scalping illegal is how do you prove someone buying something is scalping it? What should be done is for things like this it's limited to 1 or 2 per household, most people only need that and scalper wouldn't be able to buy in bulk

Using it for driving or flying games avoids the trouble of Bluetooth detecting the VR controllers. I ordered a USB extension cable so that my UB500 dongle is in a better position, away from where the PC Adapter is plugged in (apparently, that's a recommendation)

I just plugged my PSVR2 directly into my GPU and it works fine. Make sure your GPU doesn't have a USB-C port before you go crazy looking for one of these.

Not just a USB-C port, a. VirtalLink compatible USB-C port. The thunderbolt 3 port in my 2017 iMac didn't work, in part because it predates the VirtualLink standard,. New GPUs aren't being made with it either.

Im someone who doesnt get moiton sick ever really. And man, when I first tried VR with PSVR2 I was down for the count. Like be hungover without drinking, and you think it would only last a few hours. Nope, I was down for the night and following day. I still need to get my vr legs, hopefully one day my tolerance will be so high it doesn't faze me at all. I hope over time some software updates can come to PC PS hub, as not having HDR at the minimal, is weird to not even get that feature.

What if I want to use it with a type C graphics card? Will it just work by connecting the psvr directly? Edit: I have a gaming laptop with a type c port that goes directly to the GPU.

If anyone picks this up and encounters the same issue I did were the PlaystationVR App kept immediately auto-closing after hitting Play, then you most likely have an AMD CPU and an Nvidia GPU like myself. Check to see if Windows update installed any AMD drivers on your system. If so, uninstall those. The PlaystationVR App will then open normally. You're welcome!

Love your videos! I've a PSVR2 already (console user), and wish to connect it to my PC, which I suspect does not have an onboard bluetooth on the video card. I'm a complete PC numpty, but have seen other reviews which suggest that putting the BT adapter at the rear of the computer does not provide a strong enough signal to the controllers or headset. My PC has USB ports on top and at the front, but I doubt that these are video-friendly (excuse my ignorance). I'm thinking I cannot just plonk the BT adapter in any old USB port. Am I correct? I'm quite excited at the prospect of playing AMS2 and AC, even WRC (even tho I suck at rally). You make it look pretty simple, but other reviews I've watched have shown the connection process to be a nightmare of trial and error. BTW, I bought an NLR GT Elite rig after watching your review (and others), plus the ES1 bucket. Love it.

Thanks, Bluetooth is normally on the motherboard make sure you have the wifi antenna connected, PlayStation recommend blue adaptors I recon you should be fine getting a dongle. Great to hear my videos have been helping!

Please dont use Blutooth 4.0 for controllers you want Bluetooth 4.1 or better and at best aim for 5.0, from my testging the 4.0 and older standards can give horrible latency at times randomly and no one wants that while gaming, also if your on a desktop PC then do not use a USB Bluetooth dongle get a PCI-E one as the Antenna on them cards will be far better and some will even supply a boot of power from the PCI-E power to give better signal, iv had £20 PCI-E cards destroy a USB Adapter that cost £45 in terms of performance as iv always found USB dongles wifi or bluetooth just suck in general

I wear glasses, and scratched the headset lenses very early on. Fortunately Sony Australia repaired them FoC. I now use VR Optician lenses to go over the headset lenses. They are the same prescription as my glasses. Work amazingly well.

@@supercededman I scratched my PSVR2 lenses also with my glasses, it's so easy to do, especially with games like pistol whip and beat saber where you need to readjust the headset after moving about. The telescopic headset adjustment means it only takes one slip up then the lens are damaged for good. Lens inserts are a must.

Bluetooth problems on my side...and Steam VR sometimes messes it totally up. Claims there is no HMD connected (VR2 app tells me it is allright)...sometimes Steam Home VR laggs es hell so i have to kick the application and relogg to windows. Room for improvements...but not sure if this is even Sonys fault.

I get the no HMD connected issue too when starting games, but seems to go away instantly for some reason and has never really been an issue other than that pop up

Make sure you have the WiFi antenna attached for increased Bluetooth range and for steam VR switch the displayport on the gpu

Also, connect the VR headset to the PC and turn it on first, and then start SteamVR. This might help. If you use a Bluetooth adapter, make sure you have downloaded the official manufacturer driver from the internet and don't use the Windows automatic one.

You don't need an adapter, but it uses some janky software. I tried it a couple of times a few years back, but I can't recommend it. It doesn't work well since it relies on the PlayStation camera, which you can't hook up to the PC, and the Move controllers can't be used either. You'll just have a 3D 360 viewer.

It's funny how people was talking crap about it and everything due to it doesn't have HDR you know that 4K is HDR that's why you need a 1.4 display port yeah it doesn't have to say HDR if it's HDR cuz 4K is HDR

@@lorddrago2162 4K is not HDR. The ps4 original model can do HDR and that is not a 4K machine. You can also output 4K on a PC or PS5 and never turn HDR on if you don't want it. They're 2 separate things
