I found multiple fixes, first of all, make sure that you plug your display cord into the graphics card. If you’re not sure where the graphics card is ports are, look it up. If you are still experiencing issues, try buying different display cords. Some display cords are just not working with the PSVR2

I had the same problem, and I got to the next screen by doing a light press on the headset power button. It has to be a light press, or you will turn it off.

I thought I'd add that you should ensure that your PC isn't connected to any other Bluetooth devices when using PSVR2, such as your phone. I haven't tested it with other Bluetooth devices, but I've had no Bluetooth related issues when I turned off my phones Bluetooth. And this is with the Intel Bluetooth adaptor that came with my motherboard.

My adapter is just sitting on the cabinet that my PC sits on. I'd quite like to find a way to fix it in place a little more because I've accidentally pulled it off my cabinet a few times and it tanks the connection when it pulls on the cables a little - Aaron

Update your Bluetooth drivers but also make sure that you only have one video output from the PC, i had an issue with the HDMI output to a second screen - removed that, just had display port out to monitor and display port to teh PSVR adaptor and i was able to continue the setup...

So one end of the displayport cable goes into the adapter, but where does the other end go? When I plug it into my GPU it comes up as a new monitor, but I cant do anything there. Plugging it into my motherboards displayport does nothing either.

@@pushsquare so I found out that you need to plug it into the GPU, which makes sense because you'd want to be using your GPUs capabilities, not your CPUs integrated graphics (if your CPU has that). Sony should have disclosed this in their instructions to be entirely honest but yeah, 100% want to be using the GPU. I only questioned it because when I connected it to my GPU (which was my first choice) I wasn't getting results but that's because the psvr2 app REQUIRES you do so ALL of your setup through there first, so if you skip steps (like syncing the controllers to your Bluetooth first before doing it in the app) it's all going to behave weird.

Do you have any other port connections? Same happened to me, but I checked and tried other port that I didn't see previously and it worked! Hope it helps / you can solve it. ;)

@@Bugsitogamer Figured it out. Exact same issue LOL Had two ports and i was not using the one on the graphics card. So FYI to all, use the port on the graphics card.

Well in all fairness it was originally designed for optimized ps5 experience and when Sony realized they weren't selling as intended..they came up with an alternative option for PC support...future updates will probably help overall

Unpair and repair? Or possibly you need to update the firmware on them first via your PS5. I know that they get recognised as audio devices when you plug them in via cable.

I can get right upto to the point of using your PS VR2 sense controllers Aim the controller pointer at [Next] then press L2 or R2 to select except I dont have the pointer at all have tried everything like reinstalling the app and steam VR etc etc and nothing very frustrating as I dont know what else I can do 🤷🤷🤷🤷

I did actually get it working in the end, I bought the tp-link ub500 adapter and a usb extension cable, I put the USB extension cable into a usb 2.0 port the psvr2 pc adapter into a usb 3.0 port downloaded the ub500 version 2 drivers from the tp link site and got the pointers and was able to complete the installation and finally play PCVR games.

I get a problem in that playstation vr2 app .It is a terrible experience. The app always break. It just like I'm in step 1 when I come to steps 2 in exe it break .I reopen the app than I come to step 3 successful. Unfortunately when I come to step 4 it break again. Sometimes it will repeat break in steps 2 or step 3. Until I can reach the button which can open play area setup for psvr2.After I open the play area setup for psvr2 exe. The exe tell me that I have not open the psvr2 , but I have open it. If I have not open it ,how I come to here? So wired. My psvr2 have show the picture from pc. It prove the psvr2 is ok and I have test ivry psvr2 dlc ,psvr2 can show and identify normal. That mean my HDMI 2.1 no problem. I change the psvr2 pc turner but play area setup for psvr2 exe still say you have open psvr2.

i have 2 htc vive headsets and psvr2. the vive headsets are the original headset with laser towers. the other is the XR Elite wireless. All my games work flawlessly with both HTC headsets. now...PSVR2: Alienware m18 r1 4090gpu laptop issues: Bluetooth not compatible by the alienware command centre version 6. The controllers are connected as far as windows 11, the PSVR 2, and SteamVR is concerned. I have the latest display port cable. headset works fine. The bluetooth card in the laptop is a non descript non branded unit. Bluetooth works flawlesslly wireless with bluetooth to the controllers as the bluetooth is built into the headset to the controllers. Game issues: half life alyx - when moving head around screen tear is horrific. The controllers shake and are unresponsive. Your VR hands fly up into the air or into the floor randomly, and the controller buttons only work after pressing them multiple times. sync issues to the point its completely unplayable. The in game graphics menu does not allow for setting up manually, it sets performance auto for you. No mans sky. incredible on ps5 psvr2. ingame the frame rate on standard graphic settings dumps to below ps5 standard. The game crashes and stops playing every 10 minutes. The VR hands are shaky, the headset screen tears, all the same problems as half life. The controllers are not set up to play it properly. On my htc headsets, this game runs in ultra settings without breaking a sweat. the forest: all the issues of above, and on top, when you touch anything in game, it bends the graphics like you are on a psychadelical trip. great if you want a free trip i suppose, but for gaming, utter rubbish. Skyrim: all the issues of above, but also the controllers dont bring up menu screens properly and it is a total failure. its not the best VR controlling game to start with but its unplayable on this. Another weird issue is that my character is a giant...or every NPC is a dwarf. they all come up to chest height. at this point i was done with the adaptor and sending it back. if this is your only headset and want it on pc, good luck.

@@ianj6748 yep, im getting amazing results on my other VR headsets. Always have. Psvr2 is just not playing ball. I have got a new long range bluetooth dongle to try. Im hoping its a bluetooth issue, however i dont know if that will make a difference with screen tear on some titles. The one that really did make me double take was nms, that game is rock solid on ps5 and in pc on my htc headsets. Literally every 10 minutes, it went down to 10fps then crashed.

You skipped over the entire screen in which it won't let me proceed. The "connect to your PSVR headset screen". Everything is solid white color, my controllers, my headset and the adapter itself. But I can't get past that screen in where it says "if you can't proceed, check all connections". I don't know what i'm doing wrong.

You’re likely having Bluetooth issues. I’m running into the same issue. I am going to install the antenna that came with my motherboard and got one of the recommended usb Bluetooth adapters on order if that doesn’t work. I think the issue lies in the controllers showing “connected” in the windows menu but not actually tracking correctly as the steamvr overlay shows differently.

@@TarzanGTI I have a recommended adapter. My controllers are connected. They're in my Device Manager and showing up with a solid white color light on the controllers themselves. My display port cable is plugged into the DisplayPort spot, my adapter is plugged into the USB 3.0 spot which is blue and says SS under it (that's what google told me what to look for). Not sure what is wrong :(

@@MrJcash69 I was able to resolve the issue after installing the antenna that came with my motherboard for WiFi/bluetooth. If yours came with one, I suggest trying that. If not, buy one of the recommended adapters. Working flawlessly for me since the antenna was put on.

I found out my PC does NOT have a display port. OMGGGGG. I have everything but that. So now I have to get an adaptor. Anybody have any suggestions? I have one on Amazon in my cart but you plug the display cable into the adaptor, then into a dongle that then connects it to the PC via USB. I mean is that even right? Im good with stuff like this usually but this one has me stumped. I have a Lenovo tower with 8 gig of RAM, Amd RYZEN 3 4300G with Radeon. And only ONE HDMI port which is for my monitor

Literally the worst headset (in its current state) on PC...and this is coming from someone with a Quest 3 as well as having had a Quest 2. Even once you get past the disaster that is bluetooth connectivity issues, and even once youre finally in a game; the constant loss of connectivity mid game for the controllers is enough to just quit playing entirely. Ive followed steps to NOT use usb 3 ports, to use ports on the front/top of the PC as well updating drivers for the suggested tp link dongle...awful experience until they hopefully sort these issues with a patch of sorts.

Be sure the update is from TP or your brands website, then choose from where you downloaded to update instead of windows update. Remove other things using bt/wifi nearby. Get a 2.0 usb extension cable and distance away from pc. Keep away from florescent lightbulb. Search 'PS (space btween psvr) VR2 to PC troubleshooting' and tracking issues section for most of these tips to help deduce interference/get optimized connection.

I can tell you when Cyberpunk 2077 launched I played though the game on PC without a single crash...doesn't detract from the fact that for the majority of people their experience was a negative one. Funny how everyone's experience is different huh? Not like I'm just 'being negative' for the sake of it bud.
