Bethesda is owned by Microsoft, so it would be up to them. While it sounds like they are planning to port more games to the PS5, I doubt Skyrim VR would be one of them, since Microsoft isn't enthusiastic about VR and Sony doesn't give the impression they'd care enough to pay for a port. But as someone who put over 400 hours into Skyrim on PSVR 1, I would also really like to see it happen. There's also the PC VR adapter though. That's most likely going to be the only way to play Skyrim on PSVR 2, sadly.

I mean... Let's not get too excited. It's only a tiny handful. A few games... and they're almost entirely locked behind a Premium Membership. Considering most people have Extra (or Essential), this isn't the best news.

Also last week 6 psvr2 games came to PS Plus on the Premium tier. Ghostbusters, Walkabout minigolf, Saints and Sinners, Saints and Sinners chapter 2, before your eyes and Synth Riders. If you are already on Extra it might be worth the few extra £/$ for the upgrade if you don't already own those games. For me it was about £8 to upgrade extra to premium for the remaining 220 or so days on my subscription.

The no announcement or VR acknowledgement of any kind is the first time news regarding entertainment got to me. The disappointment and discouraging feeling it brought with it was heavy for me, and still hard to shake. My joy for Astro bot has also been diminished as well. I'm not interested in the flat game at all.

I’m very interested in the ’flat’ Astro game. That said, it’s just further evidence of Sony’s desire to distance themselves from PSVR2. I’d be surprised if we saw more than 1 or 2 games from Sony. PSVR2 is now a 3rd party headset at this point.

Can you do a video about the pc adapter and what the capabilities are? Im suprised the channel hasn't had a video on it. I know there isn't much info but I was curious about things like will we be able to watch 3d blurays or can will we be able to use youtube vr? A lot of that really isn't known yet. From what Sony said recently, it sounds like you need to run it through Sony software that is distributed and runs through Steam, and also relies on Steam VR for some functionality. I don't know if that would limit it to games/apps/media in the Steam ecosystem or not, but if it does I imagine modders would be able to bypass such restrictions.

Can anyone help me please? I got my vr set yesterday and have spent hours trying to get the controllers working correctly in game. I've done everything I can find about rebuilding database, updating controllers, deleting and re-adding controllers, etc. I can actually get then to work if I start up the game with a dual sense and then turn on the vr controllers at the game screen, but everytime I start up another game I have controllers issues again. The controllers work just fine in the ps menues but once in the game the R2 or X to confirm wont work. If anyone has had this issue is there somethin I can do to fix it? I'm thinkin I should take them back, but I found another forum thread where a guy said he returned his and his new set did the same thing. It has me thinking it's somethin with my ps5 cause I can keep tinkering around at the game menu with disconnecting and reconnecting the controllers to get it to work. Any help I'd appreciate? Thanks

I think most developers underestimate how difficult it is to add multiplayer into a game that wasn't built for it. I'm just happy they didn't give up! :D

Honestly I don’t even think they would have to rework Astro to work with Sense controllers. Dualsense is just fine, it has great gyro controls that could be utilized here. And triggers+haptic feedback would make up for the bit of expected little bit of jank in the sections where you shoot with the controller etc. but I am sure not many would complain really

I know they won’t bother, Sony pretty much gave up on VR it seems; the headset will receive 3rd party and indie titles for as long as these developers and publishers think it’s worth it financially. But once statistics come out showing half the ps5 owners or so are using it for pcvr as well with the adapter, there will be less ports coming I guess. Let’s see where the journey takes us, but it definitely doesn’t look good right now.

I'd love to know how many people actually pay for Plus Premium. I had it for the first year and barely played the additional games. That's just me though, I'm sure a lot of people don't have a copy of Jumping Flash sitting on a shelf behind them

They ain't porting rescue mission. No way. They may have looked at the % of players who re-played it, and at the % of new PSVR2 owners who didn't have PSVR1, and decided not enough would bother playing it again. File that under wild conspiracy lol. But I mean, it was great.. I never felt the urge to go back in once I'd 100% the game. He'll be back in VR. One day..... Also, puzzling places on the top 25 is wild, with whats missing. Great debate tho, loved it. We eatin good.

I agree with everything you said here... Until I just hooked up my psvr1 again and streamed Rescue Mission the other day. With a view to 'what is all the fuss about the new Astro not being VR...' And I'd also 100% completed rescue mission already... And Astro won me over, all over again, it is so good! I'm glad I revisited it!❤
