Astros Playroom is the most happy I’ve been playing a game since playing GTA 5 for the first time on ps3. This has been a perplexing console generation for me, half the games on this list I haven’t played yet so maybe that’s part of it, but I haven’t been as impressed with my ps5 at this point as I’ve been with past PlayStation consoles. My general feelings about ps5 have been it’s a better way to play ps4 games. Haven’t had that game yet that really made me feel like my ps5 is amazing.

Yeah, this is indeed a weird generation of gaming to be in. In a way it still feels like last generation except more optimized. It's like we never really left the ps4. Maybe ps6 will be more next gen haha

I guess it's the common pitfall sequels always run into. The original was just so damn good there was no way it was gonna top it regardless of how hard they tried. What didn't you like about the story line?

@SuperJumpReviews built the whole story to lead to this massive climax but never really got there. I feel like if Peter had died, it would have given the story a much bigger impact, especially since they led the story in a way where they made it seem as if that was going to happen. And to address your first statement, God of War: Ragnarök was better than the first, The Last of Us Part II was better than the first, and so many other games have created great sequels. This game just played it way too safe. Even the devs said that Miles is the main Spider-Man going forward. Why not give Peter a massive send-off instead of the "I'm done now, have fun"?

I prefer vibrant darker color palette and wavy water effect compare to static on ps. 60fps menu access also feels good sand natural. Even non shiny save crystals suit game atmosphere better imo. Frame rate deeps to 20ish at times though

No, Returnal does not need a checkpoint system. The replaying is part of its story. You do unlock certain things as you go along. Top notch game, and very original for a 3rd person shooter. I can recommend it wholeheartedly.

@@SuperJumpReviews Grinding is not the core mechanic in any of the souls games. Even in Elden Ring, grinding and leveling up only get you so far. You have to actually learn the combat and the enemies and overcome them through gameplay. Hell you don't even level up in Sekiro. You spend experience on skills and techniques that change combat.

Spiderman 2 was disappointing for me. The combat was great, but some side missions and the bait-and-switch from Spiderman to Miles were meh. I do love Venom, though. I did enjoy FF XVI. It was a great game. I am currently playing FF VII Rebirth, and I am enjoying it.

Horizon Forbidden West is easily the best game I’ve ever played. Graphics are beyond, game play is great, but yes if you take a break it’s difficult to get back in the groove. Unfortunately I’m on about 2 months and my break was as I started Singularity. But an amazing game. And Astros playroom is great. Absolutely love that

You should delete the game file, it is separate from your save files so you won't lose your game progress amd re download it. If it is doing exactly what you describe. If it just shuts down the ps5 with no warning it is overheating and needs to be blown out with compressed air. I had this issue myself, I tossed a fan by the intake (right side) but just bought me more time before it would do it again. So I checked you tube regarding ps5 cleaning and found out the white outer case pretty much just pops and slides off with no tools required super easy. But then u have access to all the internals, there is even little holes/ports where u can put the compressed air nozzle(thin plastic tube) into and hit that g spot.. amd you will know lol when I did this and a giant thick cloud just continued to puff out of it. Once that stopped pop it back together and it's been running smooth as silk... good luck

I have both PS5 and Xbox Series X and tbh i don't think there's a side that blows the other out the other, i prefer my PS5 for exclusives but i mostly play Xbox because it's so much more affordable to play many games, and Xbox have alot better exclusives than people think, definitely not as good as PlayStation but this generation is far closer than last generation, and there was some very good Xbox exclusives last gen too

Horizon Zero Dawn was the first game I got for the PS4, and after thinking of it as amazing at first, I lost all interest when I saw how much more fun AC Origins was to play. I think what would have made a huge difference would have been if they added the ability to scale up cliffs and structures like in the AC games. I don't mean adding parkour stuff, but just being able to move around the environments easier.

Hit some good titles, i thought it was an ps5 "sony" exclusives list but lets be honest do they even have 10 must have exclusive games? 🤔 but expanding it to all games, you included some good ones, but i would argue the order is wack no way spider man lands number 1 and ghosts are near the bottom. Not saying ghost should be number 1, but for sure, not at the bottom .
