Gotta watch the live version at PSY's concert!! Suga called PSY and told him he had a song for him. PSY said ok and then convinced Suga to be in the MV, but then tricked him into dancing. I think PSY is old enough to be Suga's dad?! Anyway, if your interested in knowing about PSY, he gave a talk about himself at the Oxford Union in London, in English....his story is humorous...why he dances how he does, his education and work history, Just something that might interest you on your own time. I would also check out at least one of his concerts....the crowd is like none other - legendary.

The teasers for this project were SO fun, because at first we were told Yoongi had produced this song, and the next day we found out he’d be featuring on the track too, and THEN we found out he’d also be in the MV - it was a whole thing and it was SO FUN. how they ended up collaborating: 1. Yoongi called PSY saying he's got a song produced perfect for him (PSY) and Yoongi intended to just give the song to PSY. 2. PSY listened to it but he was looking for something else and they ended up with That That 3. If I remember it correctly, Yoongi was also not planning to write anything, but PSY convinced him to feature on it. 4. PSY also ended up convincing Yoongi to dance and be on the music video. Yoongi is a producer, he will step out of his comfort zone and produce a song that the artist he's collaborating with is most comfortable. He will think of the artist rather than himself because the artist will perform the song, not him, not SUGA of BTS and not Agust D the rapper. Of course, if he's a featuring artist, he will fit into the genre because the song will mainly be under the artist's discography.

Also the translation of lyrics is so minimal, especially when you hear how much he said but there are like 5 lines... Full lyrics are somethings like this: "Hey, did you forget what I do? Yoongi wanted to produce a song for Psy, so he just texted Psy out of the blue and said "I have a song for you!" And then of course he got talked into featuring, and then talked into being in the MV, talked into the crazy choreo. This was also a pretty big style change for him. They hadn't often styled him in such a "leading man" kind of way and it kinda kicked off that D-Day era of the more masculine, grown-up styling for him. I loved his styling before but it was often much softer and younger. This was a fun change! ARMY loves a goofy SUGA. As you watch more Suchwita and get into Run BTS, you'll see that he's often a huge goofball and very willing to go along with whatever shenanigans are happening. He's also a very versatile producer. As you go through his Prod. SUGA stuff, you'll see a pretty wide variety of genres and styles.
