I think these are great, but most of them also need to be learned for ourselves. For example, I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t agree that not caring about the opinions of others would bring you more happiness. However, many people still struggle with that myself included. Sometimes it takes our own failures for us to actually be able to learn these things in the way we need to.

I think there is room for one more lesson in this video 🤩 a lesson that has brought me through several depressions and downfalls in my life: Discipline Equals Freedom. A book by the same name, written by author Jocko Willink, taught me this valuable lesson at a point where I was struggling to stand tall. Whether you want to do great at school or achieve the gold medal at the Olympics, it takes disciple. It takes discipline to keep doing your homework, despite being bored out of your skin. It takes discipline to design and execute your workout schedule, even if you don't feel like it on a bad day. Life is always a challenge and it requires a decent level of discipline to make the best out of it, while you still can.

The 2 most important things I've ever learned 1. You gotta love yourself before anyone else can love you, cause no matter how much love and affection someone showers you with, it won't mean anything if you feel like you don't deserve it 2. You gotta help yourself before anyone can help you, imagine your car broke down, unless you get out and push your car yourself no one will know your car broke down and no one will come and help you

I changed my life in a big way recently. I was living in Amsterdam, had a job and was pretty comfortable, but I felt completely stuck. So about six months ago I packed up all my stuff and went to Italy. I traveled around for a few months (on my roadbike) and am now in Ferrara (Northern Italy), looking for a place. I'm very lucky that I was able to find work I can do remotely (translation work), so I don't have to worry too much about money, though right now it is a bit tight. It was and still is scary, it can be lonely at times and of course I miss my family and friends. But I've also met so many new friends from all over the world and even though I'm still figuring things out, I know it was the best decision I've ever made.

Best decision I ever made was to accept a job after 8 years of not working. I wondered if I made a mistake after the first couple of days because I was so tired. However, because I took this job I lost weight and feel like I was saved from a prison I couldn’t foresee escaping. And, it’s just me and my boss working from her home, with her two dogs and my dog who she insisted I bring with me. I call her my friend now, and we are equally grateful for one another, but in actuality I think of myself as her fourth rescue dog, lol, because I truly believe she saved my life.

It is vital to know that everyone-regardless of their wealth, physical appearance, intellectual or physical capacities-is equal in worth and adequacy. The worth of a citizen is monosemous and there is no real hierarchy denoting that, since one paramount property-which is the soul-is equally potent and eternal for everyone, thereby making every single individual citizen equal. Never determine your adequacy on the basis of someone's inherently flawed criteria, because as long as you are virtuous and pious, you are worthy and adequate.

Money can and does buy happiness. It's called a "home" that one maintains by paying "taxes". Also you can get "food" with this money that will prevent you from "starving to death". I know these must be foreign concepts to those who only preach gratitude and happiness, but if one has nothing then there is literally nothing to be grateful for. Money might not ultimately make you happy but it is necessary to do pretty much everything. My only advice as always is that if you are a smooth skin, you will be fine. The world only despises the existence of uglies like me who unfortunately genetically cursed (me more so than most because I got all the defects of my family). Caring or not caring what others think isn't really going to change how they will treat you. What they see will determine how they will treat you.
@FDE-fw1hd2 жыл бұрын
Right, but I don't think that was their point. Smooth skin is usually obtained by taking care of yourself. I don't think everyone thinks that smooth skin=attractive.
