Interesting to see the debut from Fairport Convention in the book!

Hi Derek! I just got that book a few weeks ago, the write ups are pretty good, but it is all basic psych albums, I would save the money and get "Endless Trip", Tapestry of Delights" or acid archives, there is just a handful of albums in the book that I don't have. The info on the psychedelic singles is very cool. All in all for $25 it's not a bad book for starters. Peace

I'm a big fan of this book. Endless Trip is highly recommended too.

I absolutely LOVE that book! I picked it up at Barnes & Noble on clearance for under $10. What a serendipitous bargain! You're right about the Bob Dylan though. I love Dylan, but Blonde on Blonde is taking up space when it could be better used for other albums. I would've used instead The Monkees' HEAD, or Van Dyke Parks SONG CYCLE, or maybe even Ora's self-titled album. I'm obsessed with record/album themed books so this is a welcome highly prized book in my collection! I highly recommend it to anyone that's a new or old psych fan.

The book he wrote "Endless Trip" has a lot more albums, like you said this is a coffee table book so it is very basic with its selections.
