@@Warp75 Wow, thanks! That's awesome to read. Definitely hoping to push the boundaries a little with these albums. In a nutshell, most AI require a prompt that breaks down the individual components that make the song. Vague instruction will still create a generic song, but very specific instructions can create specific sounds, keys, rhythms, instrument references, vocals, styles, melodies, lyrics, etc. At risk of giving myself too much credit, the AI does generate the music. My role is to write the specific prompts and lyrics; the more involved and specific, the more exact the song. The less specific, the more random the outcome. They don't usually recognize artist names, so I've found myself doing a lot of research on the individual components of various sub genres to build or mix a particular style. Sometimes its trial and error to find references the ai understands. Now and then I'll hit gold and have a full album in an hour, sometimes it takes me trashing like 20 crap tracks over a week just to get like 4 or 5 useable songs that I'm happy with. That's really the only mildly frustrating part. Then there's additional mixing or editing in Audacity, photoshopping album designs, and producing the videos, but that's all standard stuff.

Oh shit! this is severely good. I mean... I'd listen to this over so many classic albums from this genre. Really good. Impressive. I'd love to know your promtwerk process. AI stands on the shoulders of ALL the giants... and it goes through their pockets, and probably, eventually, it will even read their minds, from the past. For instance: In the liner notes to Flex-Able by Steve Vai, he makes all of these promises that he is going to release a bunch of albums including a noise album. He never did. He played for Whitesnake instead. I hope we will eventually be able to give a prompt like: AI, make me some Steve Vai albums that may have happened if he had remained a pure pioneer and technical innovator and weirdo. Make sure Jaco is playing bass, but he's really influenced by Philip Glass. My mom own drums. I would enjoy hearing what Taylor Swift would sound like if Fugazi was her backing band.. with Merzbow.... and the acid and mescaline drenched Todd Rundgren from 1972 producing. A Wizard, A Noisy Pop Diva.

@@TempleoftheAcidFist Surely! For the Néo-trad bands, a truly Québécois genre : La Bottine souriante, Harmonium, Mes Aieux and Les charbonniers de l'enfer. For the psychedelic rock scene of Québec in the 60s : not really anything I can think of, there is that Les Classels album "Les trois cloches, Dalila" that matches and is good. For the normal 60s rock scene : Les sultans, Les lutins, the other albums of Les Classels, Les Hou-Lops, Les gendarmes and Les Mercedes Is it good?

Sim. Em outra resposta do dono do canal, ele explicou que prompts especificos "destrincham" (ele usou a expressão "break down") a música em seus subcomponentes. Ele faz as letras das músicas e (provavelmente) prompta períodos históricos, instrumentos, técnicas, etc. Parece que a IA não reconhece nome de artistas e bandas (ainda), então é necessário que o responsável faça uma pesquisa musical significativa para pode promptar adequadamente.
