This sounds very much like AI to me. The guitar tone gives it away, along with a few sonic anomalies, that don't really happen in human made music. Might even say Suno, but I won't rush there just yet, because I'm not as familiar with the other generators. But feel free to prove me wrong.

You can unfortunately, it is completely possible to buy the licensing for an AI bot, it may be dishonest but it doesn't take away from real musicians in any way. Anyone who is passionate about music can take inspiration from it and write something themselves that is equally cool. It's a sad reality of today but 🤷🏻‍♂️ it's no different than programming drums or keys in a MIDI program for a backing track for a song.

The more carefully I listen to it, the more I'm suspecting AI was involved, because it sounds an awful lot like music I've generated with AI before and has some of the same artefacts (random phase shifts and abnormalities. Would be great to see how this is made, if that isn't the case, or know if it is. KZbin is drowning in AI content lately, so I wish people were more upfront with these things.

@@simonahriman4710 sorry, this isn't very black metal. check my playlists for the black metal ones and check out the more recent acts. it evolved into a very precise and specific sound and atmosphere as a genre since Ulver and Satyricon, so I don't know what you mean. This band sounds a lot like Igorrr, and Igorrr has way more black metal influences. just saying ^^'
