This kit appears to be a tribute by Von Franco to the great pinstriper of the 60s Von Dutch,the original designer of the flying eye,who done a lot of custom work with Ed Roth 👍😎

I'll brush paint most of the fittings eyeball and arms and spray the car body nearer the finish date.🤔 Hopefully the weather will have improved. We've gone from torrential rain to freezing cold and threats of heavy snow from Norway 😅

Those rear tyres are massive, I wish I had a better model to use them on. I think the model would look better with deformed cartoon wheels like the Rat Fink kits

Apart from spraying car body,I'll brush paint a lot of it in the cartoon style of the box art. I will drill out the carb intakes,add spark plug leads,fuel pipes and throttle linkage and change the headlamps for some chrome ones from my spares. Delete the metal front axle as I'm not going to play with it afterwards 🤣🤣🤣

It's pretty neat,Ted. I'd only seen the Von Franco Willys coupe before. I will make a few detail changes and put on some chrome headlamps but I want to keep the cartoon effect of it🤡👍😅

They would be about 55 bucks here.as it was £40 (That's British pounds sterling). There was only 2 of these kits available,when I got this one,and not many people stock Moebius kits at all.😣. I'll see what I can find over the course of time🤔😉

I've seen the 'Stoned Hoods and Crooks' Willys gasser. That is more expensive than the eyeball one😢

Thats a good bit higher then what there selling for here
