@@petesmodelcarcustoms584 Indeed. Sorry about that. real life, you know. I’ve been swamped with out of state work trips, and work has just not been slowing down. I’ve had next to no bench time and have had little spare time to even watch videos. Trying to get back into the swing of things as we’re still super busy but at least I’m home a bit more lately.

As it was a gift,I'll build it as is but,you're right,Phil, I could break this into so many others or swap bodies. I'd definitely buy another😉. Great looking kit,shame there's not a wheel option but that's the only downer🤔

Look really like a nice kit Pete. You said 4.7 L ? 286 cbu? Did you say over head cam? The only 4.7 L is a Toyota pickup motor that I know of. Nice kit good review too

Dohc. It say 4.7 on box and I've seen similar 5 litre motors. Really it just a collection of blobs of styrene,I always wonder at the true accuracy of car parts. It seems a lot more casual the aircraft or armour modelling

@petesmodelcarcustoms584 Yes, you're right about casual with cars, but here you have car lovers putting any size motor and drive train in to any auto makers car, no matter the year. Your can have 32 Ford and a Chevy mill, part are cheeper😊 But on the other hand You want a p51 or a Mk9 Spitfire with the full motor of a Merlin 61, you have your hands full with fuselage thickness problems. Tanks are easy to super detail I done many full interiors with scratch built every thing. All have their challenges that I love.

Well, a very good scratch build, bring back some memories of a certain car I did. Yes I have used the hot water treatment. Never tried it with coffee, styreen the other sweetener 😊 I alway wanted a little hole cutter. I will have to look for it. There is no getting used to metric, in the US. I get upset when I go to the auto parts store and say I need this . What size motor 366cubic inch. They stare at me, ok 6 liter. What is the trucks tonnage? I say 3/4 ton. another icy stair K2500. Is it four wheel drive , I said, "K, that means four wheel drive in Chevy language." Lol it's here to some extent. I only say the Mets measurements for the people living out of the US.😊

I knew you'd have used hot water and been in it😅👍. The hole cutter is a cheap but very useful tool,they come with spare blades. The Olfa cutter is better made. Our weather temps are metric too,centigrade😀not Fahrenheit

We say stuff weird here, too. Like Texas oil is not oil, it's O. Some say ant, but others say ont( spelled wrong) My family says something weird for here, Fokes for mom and dad. But the German is showing. folks is volks, it means people.😊 I don't hear that anymore here.😮

I'm originally from South London so had a sort of Cockney accent that's been corrupted by a New Zealand girlfriend and my living in various parts of this country. Over here I think the accents change at about every 50 miles🤣

I felt as if I'd won the lottery, Tom👍👀💥🏆🎊. Both Bob and I are chuffed to bits with the models he sent us. The Vicky is a kit I've been after,the older,yellow one appears occasionally and this release was over 40 quid here,both versions are rare. What a diamond geezer👍👍😉

I did consider building an extension into the back yard but my landlord won't allow it 🤣🤣. I'd expected the gasser to be more damaged than it was and would have been a donor. I don't know what to do now as I wanted to stick to Fords. But then I've half built a 55 Chevy Cameo and I've more in pipeline🤣🤣. All good fun.👍😀. Have you any idea what you are doing next Doug ??🤔

Pete , I have a story for you. I went to a model show many years ago. There was a man there selling new Jo-Han models without the box. I bought the AMC Rambler kit. I asked him about it. He says he used to work at the Jo-Han factory. The boxes were destroyed in a fire. Just before the placed closed. He said they were having a hard time getting paid. Because the company was running out of money. Some people even took tooling to a scrap yard to get money. From one factory Rat to another 🏭🐁

Thanks,I did have a lot of fun with the Woodie and the Eye Gone Wild kit👍😃. These were both a new type of model to me and are generally over expensive here. The EGW was the dearest kit I've bought in a long while😟so 2/10 for value for money. 10/10 for fun🤣

Thanks Tom. I've tried to use the colours of the Rumanian and Canadian flags. I'm going to redo the central stripe with broader red stripes. I've also bought some lettering decals to do name 'Ursulescu'. Why couldn't Trevor be called 'Smith' or 'Brown'. Who ever heard of a word with 3 'U's in it. MonsterHobbies isn't a short word either. Little individual letters aimed at aircraft will be a lot of fun😂😂😂oh dear me😟

England is more right about (I feel) how they say it, but our flows off the tongue better 😅.but what about your Zed thing? I don't under stand that at all 😅😂. I tried to get a balance of the colours of both flags. I'm redoing the red stripes down the middle,this stripe is meant to represent the Canadian flag. I hope you like it,I've still got quite a way to go before it is finished.🤔
