Take a visual journey through the potential stages of an Acid Trip’s “Come Up” - all in the name of Education and Harm Reduction. Those curious NO longer need to risk dangerous N-bomb’s or a mentally devastating existential life crisis just to get some eye candy! Of course, the visual experience is a far cry from encapsulating Lucy’s true potential for both good and harm. However, it is one of the primary reasons (mistakes) that can draw the uneducated into a potentially dangerous encounter.
And that is precisely why I have created this Simulated Experience. I’m hoping after people can get an idea as to what it’s really like, then those looking to trip for the wrong reasons can spare them selves the danger. I’ve even taken things one step further than creating just a simple simulation - this video is also a documentary showcasing a real experience on a LEGAL substitute which is believed to convert into the real thing when taken.
Please keep in mind that even though I believe most of these replications are SOMEWHAT accurate it is still not a realistic substitution for what one might actually see/experience. It is the best I can do at the moment though, and not to toot my own horn, but some of these effects come pretty close! Others on the other hand are admittedly a little exaggerated (wood doesn’t flow that fast) but that would depend on who you ask. We each have unique brain chemistry, and these compounds affect each of us in a slightly unique way. Meaning it’s impossible to tell someone EXACTLY what they will see. Not to mention no two trips are ever exactly the same.
Anyway, I’ve spent the past two months working on this. I hope you guys can enjoy it!

100-150ug is a pretty standard dose to start with and will be a good trip. It can cause a bit of nausea, that's just because there's serotonin receptors in your stomach, so your stomach is tripping too. But the way the world looks is absolutely beautiful, you'll still be able to function and there will be some visuals. Plus you'll probably be laughing a shit ton

I can just tell you that tripping is always completely different from what you imagine if you haven't tripped yet. Start with light stuff like weed and once you have tripped super bad on weed i'd think about LSD again. I have never taken LSD but i have tripped balls (the bad kind of balls) on weed and you can't really understand the effect such a trip has on your brain unless you've experianced it(But just taking a drug won't automatically make you trip bad. you can start with a small dose and you 100% won't trip bad and then climb your way up). So I can understand but you should be careful. Its not like i'd never touch any drugs because of one bad trip but im just now more careful (tho still smoking almost daily).

From what I’ve read (scientific literature and personal accounts) the best remedy is to not smoke pot at all. I know...it sucks to have such a helpful and once enjoyable plant turn on you like that, but it happens to some people. I’m not a professional by any means, but if I were you I’d look into “depersonalization from cannabis use”. Best of luck.

Man at 20:25 you really nailed the visuals of the table flowing and the wall moving with patterns.. The only other thing I wished to see was more of an agenda of a few topics of life to talk about. So much wisdom and clarity comes through when you start "understanding between the lines and layers." I was super blessed to have an amazing sitter who helped so much with set and setting, and helping me focus through the peak. Then afterwards went outside to enjoy the visual and audio stimulation while riding a onewheel!! Keep doing what you do bro, we appreciate it :)

The only psychedelic i’ve done before is shrooms and it was interesting to compare that to these lsd similated effects - the wood flowing (altho a little fast like he said) and the pattern appearing on the black backdrop were VERY close replicas of what you’d see on shrooms. It’s as if your brain recognizes a pattern’s POTENTIAL for movement (e.g wood or that weird grey marble/line pattern on public transport sometimes) and then actually makes it look like it’s moving (and even forms pictures if you watch it long enough). And if there’s no real pattern or texture to begin with (walls, ceilings, paper, etc), your brain will just make some up. The face-morphing on a milder scale could definitely come with shrooms, but more like in constant motion/reforming as your brain goes between exaggerating angles/shapes/features and seeing your face normally (ofc very hard to replicate w effects i’d guess). I’ve never gotten those ghost-waves following your movement (or heard of them from friends) so i wonder if that’s an acid thing? Looked super cool tho. Anyway this was an interesting and enlightening video so thank u adam:)

I used LSD in the early 1990s and this video was really close to what I experienced :^) I had around 20 trips, all good and with friends. I remember making a cup of tea and not being able to get the milk out of the fridge because I lost all conception of how doors work and so I couldn't get the milk out of the fridge! This made us laugh for what felt like hours!!!!As you say , once its gone out of you there is no physical residue but i several times would have small, 30 second hallucinations ( wallpaper patterns moving etc) for a day or so afterwards. All the crazy stuff I saw I could usually look away and back again and things would be normal. I loved the experience but I wouldnt want to do it now I'm old because at 53 it's better to look after what brain cells you have left!! Cool video! I also like that you are giving people good advice on settings and mood before jumping in.

@@nicolekitter1943 I truly empathize. My mother is ... All of it. Her mental illnesses seem transient but when she was severely schizophrenic she did talk like folks do on psychedelics. I have lived with fear of my own gene pool my whole life. My brother was diagnosed as bipolar too, and who even knows what my absent father has going on. For me, psychedelics really helped. It was therapeutic. I am always very careful to plan. Mentality is key but set and setting are important. But I'm not encouraging this for you. It's very individual. I guess for me I was facing my fear, but I was prepared for it. That said, I think if this scares you then you should stay away from videos like this. If you may be predisposed to any mental illness, you should avoid planting seeds of fear in your mind. It sounds like you are really worried because of your age, so maybe for now you should focus on filling your mind with positivity and honestly videos like this are entertaining for some of us but they aren't doing anything positive for anyone's mental health ;) Meditation helped for me. But mostly I decided to go find the crazy and take a long walk through the cosmos with it, rather than wait around for it to find me. I only say all this because the fact that you have these concerns and are watching this and reading comments makes me wonder why? Maybe it's something you are considering? If so I guess I just want to say take all the precautions and even though you can't simply overcome fear, at the very least first overcome your fear of your fear. Our minds are all filled with scary shit but you ALWAYS have the option to laugh at it and kick it in the nuts. I had chronic sleep paralysis as a kid into my adulthood. I used to feel gremlin hands reaching up from under my bed, pulling my blankets, its gnarled hands clawing at my sheets... I was helpless, silently screaming, my heart hammering in my chest and I was certain that one day the fear would finally consume me. After my first LSD trip (I was 18) the gremlin came again. This time my mind was ready. I "reached" down to the side of the bed and I grabbed that motherfucker's hand. I could *feel* it- bony, leathery, and generally horrifying. I felt it pull back, but I refused to let go. I pulled hard, trying to drag it up onto the bed. I was challenging it, daring it to face me. It was clear that now, the product of my fear was afraid of me. It never came back. After that, sleep paralysis became less and less of a problem and I finally outgrew it. I know that this approach to life can't work for everyone, especially if people have difficulty distinguishing reality from imagination (clearly I knew the gremlin wasn't real). But the basic idea of owning that fear is the key for everyone. I really hope you find peace of mind soon, and I'm sorry for the ramble, but I really do know exactly where you are coming from.

I’ve had some serious lsd/shroomy effects from just smoking weed before. Over the years it’s made me think that the drugs are just a catalyst to induce some sort of meditative like state. If you get a little bit in your system the body/mind can create the same experience off the memory of the previous experience. I’ve also had no drugs and deep meditation that lead to similar states. Same with sex

Very accurate. The shaking is also accurate. Actually the shaking was probably the most overwhelming part of my trip. Really had trouble staying aware of things.

i disagree. i never had visuals like this. probably we usually take a lot more LSD25 in liquid form. completely different from this visualization. but still a nice video ! i recommend your channel to everyone i know Adam ! you have helped a lot of people i know in understanding psychedelics.

very accurate, but I think the main problem about explaining LSD is that your mind works different way and all the visuals around you (and stuff you hear) accepts differently and it's all like a small funny addition to the crazy festival of emotions in your brain.

Can you help with the reliable source I would really appreciate it. Many people talk about mushrooms and psychedelics but nobody talks about where to get them. Very hard to get a reliable source here in Australia. Really need!

I wish they were readily available in my place. Microdosing was my next plan of care for my husband. He is 59 & has so many mental health issues plus probable CTE & a TBI that left him in a coma 8 days. It's too late now I had to get a TPO as he's 6'6 300+ pound homicidal maniac. He's constantly talking about killing someone. He's violent. Anyone reading this Familiar w/ BPD know if it is common for an obsession with violence.

When I took LSD, I laid under a fig tree and watched the leaves and branches turn to fractals, endlessly branching inward and outward simultaneously. I watched it grow old and grow more branches, never dying, only creating more life. I saw the ants and the bees and the caterpillars and the dragonflies, and I saw how connected it all was. I then felt the universe rip me apart layer by layer like peeling an onion to the core, and I saw only shades of red amidst a darkness, like I was in the womb again. Then, I felt every hair get pulled out of my body, all of them simultaneously. Effortlessly torn out and suspended outside my body. This was followed by my skin peeling off, then suspended, then my muscles were torn out, my ligaments and tendons, then my very nervous system was yanked out. My neurons looked like freshly boiled spaghetti in a colander. My bones were pulled away, every part of me was gone, but something remained. This abstraction of my being hurt at first, it felt like a burn in every part of my body, but it hurt in the way hydrogen peroxide stings a wound. I concluded it was a necessary pain. Disinfection. When I was being peeled apart, retreated into that little pocket dimension, I felt like not just my body was torn apart but my soul too; as if I was being dissected and inspected on every level conceivable. I realized I was inspecting myself amidst this strange process, and I was watching the layers of trauma and pain being peeled away too, I saw my own insecurities and sorrows, my griefs and misgivings, my grudges and my regrets all being peeled off like something physical, like a lizard shedding its skin. My joys were shucked too; all of my fondest memories, my keenest insights, my worldly attachments and my ego highlights were all torn away as equals. Nothing was spared the scrutiny. When all my physical and spiritual parts were separated, the core that remained was the most fundamental aspect of my identity, perhaps who I was the moment I was born, before the scar tissue and the bias and the memory and the fear. Without influence of any kind. I felt more vulnerable than I’ve ever been. It was terrifying, every sound was deafening, yet too far away to hear. I laid there in the shade of that tree for a long time, hard to say how long. In my mind, I was curled in the fetal position, but then again, in my mind I was no longer physical. It felt like an eternity that I lay in the grass, but I doubt it was actually more than half an hour. When I came to, I looked up at the fig tree again and it all truly sank in. The sun hung low and heavy in the evening sky, casting fat and hazy rays of summer light on my body. I felt like I could breathe for the first time in my life, I tasted the air for the first time again. It was an incredibly powerful experience, and while I know trips are what you make of them, it was deeply inspiring once I got over the terror of being so powerless and at the mercy of a tiny sheet of paper on my tongue. I haven’t tripped on LSD since then, it was so powerful I haven’t felt a need to go back until I decipher all of what I felt and saw. Only then, when I’m ready, will I venture into that plane again. If you read through all that, thanks for taking the time to read about my experience. Tell me about your trips, too!

I have never in my life been so moved, if it makes any sense I feel like...I can’t even put into words what I just read. I have never tried lsd but I do want to at some point, I have had many dreams similar to this where I feel my self being disconnected and reconnected with the world. I was never able to put ay of it into words but what you described sounds similar and makes me understand those dreams more. If that makes any sense?

Biohazard Sky I understand. I’d call myself an accomplished dreamer if THAT makes any sense; I’ve always remembered my dreams very well, and almost all of them happen to be very intense. I’ll say that your LSD experience will be directly related to your mindset. I advise taking a small amount first, then a few months later trying it again with more once you feel comfortable. Also, do yourself and your loved ones a favor and get a test kit. They’re not expensive, especially when considering they may save your life or psyche. LSD has the potential to be a very powerful experience, but make no mistake - I was fucking terrified during that trip. It only became that enlightening radiance I described AFTER I let go of my fear by letting myself feel it in its full breadth, and by deciding it was okay for me to be afraid. You can’t quite describe what you suddenly know and feel when tripping. There is only being, and what you make of it in the afterglow. Godspeed and safe travels my friend.
