Having personally been on the receiving end of narcissistic abuse, and knowing what it feels like to be manipulated, intimidated and devalued by a narcissist, I really admire such psychotherapists as Dr. Kernberg, who have the courage and intellectual depth to still try to help narcissists. By doing so such therapists also help targets of the narcissists and even make our society a better place. Thank you, Dr. Kernberg!

People seek out these relationships, i recommend reading a paper called "The Allure of the Bad Object" by Eleanore Armstrong-Perlman. You can find it via google. It takes two to tango as they say, people are not just helpless victims but actively seek bad relationships. Much like narcissists do.

Good lecture, more people should listen to Kernberg.. but the constant flickering makes this nearly unwatchable, it's only good to listen to.
