Two teenage girls are killed horribly, months apart, on the outskirts of the northern Canadian city of Thunder Bay. Despite the best efforts of police investigators, the case goes unsolved for two years.
But when a detective contacts Noreen Renier, the psychic claims to be able to see the killer in her visions. But what the psychic sees and what police believe doesn’t match up.
Are the police right? Is she wrong? Or does the psychic see something the investigators are blind to?
Real-life crimes take on a supernatural turn when high-tech detective work meets the paranormal powers of a psychic.

I completely agree, but the way governments in most countries are, is that normal, regular people are not worth much. It's only BIG when money is involved. Normal people, citizens are not worth much in most countries' governments' eyes. It's sad, but true.

I am from thunder bay and went to high school with Donna. I remember her being such a nice and quiet person. There has been so many unsolved women deaths here especially native women. Raped and murdered. I sometimes wonder if this loser had something to do with any of them as a lot of these murders occurred between the time of Donna and Bernadettes murder until the time loser got sent to prison.

More then likely. I would be willing to say yes he probably is responsible for more. Especially at 19 and getting away with 2...what would be his motive to stop he probably felt untouchable. Yes 20 years is pathetic. Where are you located? The US typically has harsher sentence than many other places like Australia, UK and Canada as well. The Detectives in those places work hard to catch killers and bring strong evidence for convictions but the courts slap them in the face by giving them such light sentences. The UK is especially notorious for ridiculous sentences.

Indigenous women are overwhelmingly killed by their own domestic partners and/or someone known to them. They partake in the highest risk behaviours as well. The aboriginal communities often have their own police force. The crimes against these women are often falsely mystified and made to seem like they’re being hunted down like baby deer and it is not true. It has been misrepresented as such and numerous Canadian provincial and federal inquests have proven it!

What made me click on this video is that upon seeing a photo of one of the girls, I thought she looked Indigenous/First Nations. Upon watching, turns out she (Bernadette) was. And then I see comments about how this guy got off with only 20 years (and he’s trying to appeal?!) and sadly realized that this tends to be the reality for our Indigenous people who go missing and are murdered. Their (usually non-Indigenous) perpetrators tend to be let off easier, or justice is never really served to begin with. It’s a sad reality we live in.

"His plea of 2nd degree murder carries an automatic life sentence." This is confusing for me when he was given 20 years. Which is it? It's as if the judge is saying: "Well: the murder of native women doesn't warrant a harsher sentence." The judge should be removed. The perp should get hard labor in solitary: until dead.

It is sad psychics give so much info, but at the time it's considered unhelpful or vague. Another thing, the narrator said a plea of 2nd degree murder carries an automatic life sentence (20:33 on my video). Yet he got 20 yrs. I don't understand. His age (32) plus 20 is 52 and definitely not a normal life span.s

Thank you for this video. Never doubt your abilities again. Sad that police did not make more of an effort to contact the one person they could not get to answer the door. Sometimes investigations are simply a continuation of going back until someone responds. Imagine had they done this he may have been arrested 13 years sooner. God bless

How can they possibly think that these girls received justice, that their families received justice with only a 20 year sentence ? They were young , innocent girls that never lived long enough to graduate , to go to college , to get married or have children . The families were robbed of seeing their little girls experience all of those things and more . How did they receive justice with only a 20 year sentence ? That's not justice , that's a spit in the face . This disgust me !

It works out to ten years per murder. This is NOT justice.

Justin Evans family needs to get ahold of this woman. LE thinks he lost half his blood in a shed then walked in to the swamp over1000 feet away and determined that it was a suicide. The body wasn't there when they searched but was there months later.
