I will not agree with mentalist..... A experiment was done on two children that they were isolated from the society ..... After a long period of time they were exposed to the society they were not able to utter a single word of the language.... While mentalist says that a child has the innate ability to create or produce the language then why these children are not able to speak the language...mam what your take on this thing....

According to mentalist children have innate knowledge of language. They only know basics of language. Children have ability to produce a lot of sentences from past learned sentences. But in experiment they didn't learnt even a single word or sentence. Thats why this still don't prove wrong to the concept of chomsky.

That's why Interactionist theory was introduced. It is a combination of both behaviourism and interactionism.
