One of my favourite aspects of this show is the protagonist. His behaviour and characterization is unironically really refreshing and inspiring. He is kind and understanding and yet assertive and confident. So much better than the typical harem mc who instantly goes "o-omg...handholding? so lewd and wrong" Also the comedy is just brilliant.

Well, freaking out over hand-holding is actually projection from ðe auþors. Japanese people don't have much physical contact in ðeir lives, so much so ðat ðey even depict it in fantasy fiction. It's really sad and awkward. Rentarou is blessed to have such a good life.

Without trying to spoil the show, is important to remark that the protagonist when it comes to realism is just not human. Nobody can pull out what Rentarou can do because even the series calls out just how insane he is when it comes to balancing his life. He's both mentally, physically, and emotionally superhuman and is important to know this when you watch the show.

What I like about the MC is that when he was kept being rejected over and over again, he never gives up and still tries to improve himself. And the manga also shows how mentally hurt he was and how he hated his heart for always wanting a companion only to be broken again, wishing that he never had a heart that wants to love and be loved until he meet his soulmates.

The anime where all girls win, thanks to the GOAT Rentarou. Also, i really like how the God knows they are in an anime and that his mistake was not only comically stupid but also completely avoidable (if everyone only gets a single soulmate then why exactly does he need to write the number instead of just print the 1 there from the get-go?) Also, this anime got a Tsundere that isn't obnoxious? that is very great, i'm loving the show and i'm happy you are also liking it.

I had a crush on this girl since my freshman year of high school. I was too shy to ever ask her out, but we kept hanging out all throughout high school. We still hung out even after we graduated, but it was few and far between. She had gotten a toxic boyfriend, and their relationship had already ended for a while by the time we were hanging out regularly again. I was still shy for about a year or 2 (I can't quite remember how long) until I told her my feelings last year. I had a crush on her for about a decade until I told her that I loved her. We became a couple, but it's slow going because of her past relationship. For me, it's my first ever relationship, and we're in our mid 20's.

A problem I see with alot of Tsundere'a at the moment is that they're all Tsun and no Dere.

Tsundere my issue is how often the character is shallow, just a cheep imitation of characters that actually do something with the concept. But like a well done one? Often one of my fav characters, i would be exhausted irl but in fiction I'm here for the high emotions so I'm here for the high tension with them. It helps I'm often not inserting myself with romance fiction, I'm enjoying it as a third party.

35:12 I might be the only one, but i very much dislike tsundere characters. I simply do not see the appeal of them. The only thing i see are unhealthy individuals who are not capable of managing and expressing their emotions properly and in a healthy way. I understand that with anime we should not force our real life context on them, but watching tsunderes is always a painful experiences because of all the conflict and violence Their characterizations also tend to be very shallow and superficial, though that depends on the show of course. There are some tsunderes that are actually likable and well written.

I can see where you are coming from but for me it's the complete opposite. If there is a tsundere in an anime she is usually my best girl, they are very entertaining, super fun, very expressive but shy on the inside. Like i enjoy the dichotomy of a loud and hotheaded person being very shy or unable to express themselves only with the person they like. It makes me want to root for them to show more of their dere side they keep hidden. Anyway tsunderes are the best and without them most series would suffer in my eyes.

Understandable honestly, but the entire appeal of a Tsundere is their personality, seeing as they usually can't compete in physical attraction (just look at Hakari) the main hook of their character is the fiery personality and the innocent affections behind them. I do agree though that in some series they're just pretty annoying, especially if they never receive character growth and stay a one note character. But when that problem is out of the way, they're pretty sweet gals that make you want to root for them. Karane is in this group thankfully cuz she is actually pretty self-aware.

You can try to like Karane in this show.Although manga has 150+ep now and Mc have 25+gfs,she is one of the best girl for manga viewers. On my opinion,tsundere girls need the individual interactions without Mc or just not be tsundere sometimes.And show their true thoughts and personalities to let viewer realize their truely thoughts while they being tsundere.
