Funny you mention Kaguya-sama because the author of kaguya-sama has stated on multiple occasions that 100 girlfriends is currently his favorite manga series and recommends it to everyone. He has also said that be basically sees it as a spiritual successor to kaguya-sama in the romcom space and that they release in the same magazine.

Its so good cause altho you can like it as a regular harem and choose your favorite girls, its mostly made as a parody clearly, bringing up the most hilarious and out of pocket ideas with the hilarious concept of a 100 gf's. I sincerely love the MC the most, he was made SO EXTRA that makes you think he at least deserves it and simultaneously that he's just fucking cracked for no reason. I love how at the beginning we are made clear he is attractive, smart, social, a with good grades, but he still got rejected 100 times.

Just to note, all the characters have very self-descriptive names. Aijo is literally "love (emotion)", Hakari is "to plot," and Karane is "spicy/hot" (in reference to her personality). There's a bit more with their family names as well, but that'd get too long for a comment here. It's not only a very shounen thing to do, but it was probably also pretty necessary considering how much of a pain naming 100+ characters must be, lol. Also, just to clarify, Hakari is the plotting type, not the shy type. She's the type that puts on a cutesy face to seduce a guy and whatnot, like what she did in her very first scene. Gotta be clear on that one since I don't want no one overlapping with poor little Shizuka!

This is an interesting series to pick up to react. I love the manga and I'm very happy for the adaptation, glad you guys, actually, like get it in the 1st episode, the story doesn't takes itself seriously, nor the characters do it nor should we. And yeah, every girl you're gonna see is a stereotype that you see everywhere but so exaggerated and so crazy that they become something else, is a comedy, yes, but there's legit a lot of beautiful and sweet moments as well a bit of drama.
