I've been to more than a few chiropractors and you're awesome. Only one of the Doctors I went to made adjustments like you. Some are too gentle. The technique lying on your side was performed on me but no cracking.😢 My Doc once reset my skull onto the top of my spine. Immediate pain relief. It took only 3 appts. to fix a herniated disc. I hold effective Chiropractors in high regard. I've been treated for pain by them better than an MD would. Helped me avoid chronic pain and surgery, aligning my entire spine improves my nervous system and helps keep my energy high.

The difference between a Clinical Psychologist and a “therapist”, is a matter of degree of training. Psychologists are the most highly trained therapists. They are experts in the empirical literature and are trained specifically to deliver empirically supported interventions. Clinical Psychologists are doctoral trained therapists with a Ph.D., whereas a “therapist” is a generic title connoting somebody that practices psychotherapy, usually with a masters degree.

I'd be concerned about being treated by a chiropractor who has to be told that the correct name for the shoulder blade is scapula, not "scapular." Wouldn't that be in the first year of his studies? (And what does "psychologist" mean?)

Psychology and psychiatry are two different fields. They aren't supposed to even be the same. Psychologists focus on behavioral therapy, and they are much better at it that psychiatrists. Psychiatrists have less extensive therapy sessions and focus more on medicating (they are MDs). Both professionals have different ways of dealing with psychopathology. Both professionals contribute to each other's fields
