It is a mistake to recommend the accountant and management occupations to an INTJ. INTJs will grow bored and frustrated with the mundanity and lack of engagement that is typical in these jobs. INTJ NEED to be able to effect the change that they envision, this is improbable in a static environment. The workaround for this problem is to use time outside work to pursue impactful goals.
@MissLibertarian10 ай бұрын
How about forensic accounting and catching criminals by discovering what they did by imagining what they would do, and reverse engineering the books? One thing is for sure: they are likely creative accountants, but I agree that any routine procedure is boring, but I’m also pretty sure that VisiCalc, Supercalc, and Excel, but especially VisiCalc, were probably invented by INTJ’s who wanted to make their accounting more efficient. So good things can happen if you are in the wrong career but can customize it for your needs; your rare skills can also be lucrative.

@@MissLibertarian”catching criminals by discovering what they did by imagining what they would do” That idea sounds interesting, how would that work
@MissLibertarian8 ай бұрын
@@hhassan1217I'm an INTJ screenwriter. I would profile them, find out their habits and then look for evidence based on what you think drives them. Forensic accounting, for example, requires one to imagine how the numbers might be fudged, and an INTJ suspect would probably be more skilled at hiding and not the typical embezzler. Most embezzlers succumb to temptation, get away with it, and become addicted. An INTJ might anticipate the danger and spend more time coming up with an escape route or scheme.
@HypnoticChronic17 ай бұрын
@@DarkendOceans Absolutely not, it would frustrate INTJ's to no end to be forced to comply with either asinine and or inefficient orders (I know it would infuriate me to no end) which happens far more often than not. For example ask a enlisted or a vet if they have either been ordered to or seen someone order to mop rain while it was still raining or cut grass with a pair of scissors (granted these are often punishments), but they are illogical and inefficient two things that any INTJ would despise to their core, but are done to psychologically condition personnel to readily comply with seemingly asinine and or potentially fatal orders. Then there is the rank aspect to take into account, where say a OF-1 who knows nothing could order a E-6 who has years of time and seen a few things to do something completely asinine, which the E-6 knows will turn out poorly and yet he still has to comply because... rank, for example we've all heard the stereotype of the fresh butter bar failing at land nav and the sergeants being forced to pick up their slack. Suffice to say no the military is not a good option for INTJ's and is far better geared towards those personalities that have a collective disposition, thus ESFP's would be the ideal for a military environment.

1. They are unable to express their emotions effectively 2. They find it difficult to entrust their work to others. 3. They prefer depth over breadth in relationships. I agree with the three statements above. Additionally, I think I like people but also dislike them. thank you

INTJ’s aren’t typically confused as to who they like and don’t like. Usually one or the other I feel. Unless, you are referring to loving someone and not liking them at times. Two very different things.

Spot on in everything except career paths where I was involved in driving, operating, production and maintenance related industries. But still very much the INTJ. Not a front line leader but preferring to be an effective 2 IC or power behind the throne. A little bit Machiavellian …

I’m an intj but many people view me as the complete opposite. This is because I am in my last year of middle school. I decided at the start of it that I would be a stereotypical middle school boy and see what would happen. What friends I’d get, what people would be attracted to me. It was interesting.

So, like an INTJ to conduct a psychological experiment without telling anyone that they are in their experiment.

I appreciate that the narrator in this video sounds like an actual human being. Some channels use narrators who sound like AI. The segments about inner dialogs, emotions and challenges are especially well done. I have always been my own best friend and simultaneously worst enemy.

Not related to the video, but related to the kind of people I want advice from. I feel like I'm becoming a monster. Full of grief and resentment. Unable to forgive and becoming irritable and apathetic . The person who raised me left the country, and while she's improving as a person I'm here with the scars she made me. We talk today. She's happy I'm not in her life anymore and is becoming a better person (too bad she didn't became a better person's when she was raising me. The coldest persons I have ever met) I'm upset for that. I have read I need to forgive. I don't know how to do the first step.

I can't tell you tell you'll overcome easily, its a shit situation. I know how its difficult to deal with it,without having a great mindset. I just can say that feeling this kind of things isn't wrong, having a perfectionist personality and being extremely critical is exhausting, so just try to do things that you like really feeling it ,just don't choose to be happy according society you'll never arrive there,cause world isn't perfect and we are humans we just have to feel it dont have it,principaly if you feel great at your own mind.

Your not a monster. I had the same feelings growing up. Change your surroundings and the closest people. Do sport. And find something that’s fun to you. For me it was educating myself in general and also nature. I love planing stuff and caring for something, even though I was raised by not very caring people(rather the extreme opposite) Soon you will start defining yourself by your skills and not by your emotions :) Best of wishes

im an ENTJ. the description about mine is correct for how i act with other people but for my mentality and how i act alone, i relate with INTJ far more. i find it annoying how with extroverts, they only focus on describing how we are with other people compared to introverts where they dive deeply into their inner dialogue. im like an INTJ that happens to be super social and assertive
