About Alberto Vásquez: Alberto is a human rights lawyer and disability rights advocate. He is the co-director of the Center for Inclusive Policy (CIP) and president of the Peruvian NGO Sociedad y Discapacidad - SODIS (Society and Disability). He previously served as the research coordinator for the UN Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and as a consultant for several United Nations entities, including WHO, UNICEF and the OHCHR. Alberto is also a founder member of the Latin American Network of Psychosocial Diversity and an honorary fellow at the University of Essex.

Judy Heumann is an internationally recognized leader in the disability community and a lifelong civil rights advocate for disadvantaged people. She served as the first Special Advisor for International Disability Rights at the U.S. Department of State from 2010 - 2017 under the Obama Administration. Recently, Judy has been building "The Heumann Perspective" as a podcast and accessible KZbin channel to broaden and spur discussions on the intersectionality of disability.
