The "triple extension" line is also a play on X's name (XXXTentacion.) A "triple x-tension", this song/album came out after X died so its really a triple, talking about the afterlife. Wayne is one of the best writers hip hop has ever seen

When this album came out in 2018 it was probably the first song my little girl danced to from my genre of music. To this day I'll catch her saying, "don't cry, don't go." 😂 it amazes me what out kids remember from such a young age. She was 2 when the song came out. 😅

3:05 this is actually a modification of a quote from legendary UCLA basketball coach John Wooden, the Wizard of Westwood, whose teams won 10 national championships during his 12 years as head coach, including 7 in a row during that stretch - “Talent is God-given, be humble. Fame is man-given, be grateful. Conceit is self-given, be careful.”

X mother sold alot of unfinished songs to artist after his passing so they could create music featuring him. This song is one of them. Wayne admits to not knowing him before his passing however wishes he did.

X even did Spanish music He was so extremely versatile and accomplished so much more in a shorter career than Pac Tupac passed at 25 and X passed at 20 X is on songs with all the greats of this generation. Kinda frustrated you didn't mention X The whole video, especially because this song was a tribute for his passing. Hints the "triple X tension on after life rest in paradise" line That being said. One of my favorites and I absolutely love how into the song you got. Everytime you do an X song it makes me happy seeing you enjoy it as much as the rest of us who turn to his music for everything. Thank you.

Nice song choice! I love this channel but sadly the artists listened to tend to skew away from my taste (more and more so it seems, unfortunately), including some artists (*cough* NF *cough*) whose popularity baffles me given their unoriginality and utter lack of both lyrical and technical skills. I suppose all I’m saying is that I think there are a multitude of artists who discuss relevant mental health topics in far more original and thought provoking ways than a lot of the artists that have appeared on this channel in the past, and I always get excited when one such artist is featured (e.g. Wayne, Cole, Kendrick, etc.). Of course, I realize my opinion and taste is not shared by everyone, and I don’t expect anyone to cater their content to me. I just felt like sharing my thoughts.
