I LOVE this whole album. I would love to see you react to more of it. Honestly any song...pick one. This is probably my favorite complete album in a REALLLLY long time. If I'm suggesting a specific song... 1 step forward 3 steps back, enough for you, or good for you.

loved your analysis!!! one of my top 3 fav lyrics from her album is that “god I wish that you had thought this thru before I went and fell in love with you” 😭😭 so beautiful and true! her whole debut album is only 11 songs, favorite crime is one of my favorites. drivers license was her debut single and what drove her fast fame, and deja vu was next. good 4 u is also a banger. she hasn’t made a bad song! best songs for psychoanalysis in my opinion would be deja vu & favorite crime but any of them are great! ps she is an actress in the high school music reboot tv show so not the films you would’ve seen years ago- she just turned 19 ❤️

I would really be interested in your take of favorite crime. Also about the stories in the last song on the album, hope your okay. You could probably provide insight on every track. Olivia is an incredible song writer. All of her songs feel true and honest which is why, I believe she blew up the way that she did.

Olivia Rodrigo is a nineteen year old girl who released a album called sour, she blew up off a song called drivers license. Her songs are about Joshua Basset but it’s just a big theory and was never really announced. She has 11 songs and a documentary coming out soon with a new song at the end. I recommend a song called brutal it’s very very relatable and I think you’d understand it well ;))

”don’t curl up in a dark room and listen to horrible music.” Me: curls up in dark room and watches Reaction Therapy… This song reminds me a lot of my relationship with my soon-to-be ex-wife. It basically sums up my feelings to a T.
@CrustyUgg Жыл бұрын
I'm 35 but this song reminds me of my ex. We've been broken up for over 10 years. I have zero feelings for him anymore and we are actually friendly now that time has gone by and we're parents etc. but when we were together I found out he was talking to another girl behind my back. They were saying I love you to each other but he swore he didn't cheat on me. Even to this day he denies it. I've told him he at the very least emotionally cheated and he says no way. He would tell me I was crazy and paranoid and threaten to break up with me. I didn't drive at the time either but he did so guess who was always home waiting for him? 🙄

Olivia rodrigo- hope ur okay It’s a beautiful dee song as well
@ritaantosik66592 жыл бұрын
Okay so… I've been cheated on in the past, but I seriously disagree with some things in this video/song. Disclaimer: if this song just feels cathartic and helps you heal, I’m genuinely happy for you, the following is just my opinion. Also, idk any actual details about Olivia Rodrigo or her relationships aside from the contents of this song. But all of that said, I actually think the song is super toxic and that it’s unhealthy for her to call the person a “traitor” when the relationship clearly just wasn’t good... Sometimes people just don’t work. Their demons don’t play well together. You don’t always know and act on that at the start of the relationship. That’s okay. You break up and you move on… Like… I’ve been actually cheated on in the past, and for sure the emotional infidelity hurts a lot, but a partner not confiding in you/being distant is just a part of them leaving you/the relationship breaking down (or they’re temporarily struggling with something). Him calling her “paranoid” is a huge red flag and that’s one of those hindsight’s 20/20 moments where that maybe should’ve been the line and she should have left then (assuming it was safe to)… If you’re feeling like you can’t trust your partner to that degree, you shouldn’t be in that relationship anymore and neither should they. Obviously whoever she’s singing about didn’t love her, but that has no bearing on whether or not he loves the other girl… Love is not owed to everyone that you attempt a relationship with. Sure, it might suck to realize that one invested time/feelings into a dead-end relationship, but not loving the person you’re with is not equivalent to cheating/betrayal. (The following should have TW: suicide) I’ve had a friend leave an abusive relationship and shortly thereafter get into another relationship that was actually healthy and the new guy was supportive to her recovering from the previous relationship - her ex (who was also a military veteran with other psychological issues) lost his sh*t when he found out that she was with someone new, found their new place, set her car on fire, and unalived himself with a gun outside of their new apartment, shortly after posting on facebook that she had cheated on him. She absolutely had not cheated. Being close friends with both of the people in the new relationship, I knew the timeline of how their relationship developed, and there was no infidelity unless you consider relying on friends for support as you’re leaving an abuser to be “emotional infidelity”. Perhaps that personal experience is heavily coloring my perspective of the song, because to me, it feels like Olivia Rodrigo is agreeing with/encouraging the ideas of someone who abused my friend and said/did some of the most disgusting things a person can do in response to a breakup. To me, her song sounds a lot more like an abuser’s perspective than how I felt when I was cheated on.
