The opening line gutted me the first time I heard it. "Allow me to collect myself, I'm all over the place." Perfect description of what it was like before therapy. I was lost, I didn't know who I was, parts of me had been scattered because off all the emotional trauma I've experienced. For anyone who has ever self-harmed or even had to heal an injury without going to the hospital, a replacement to stitches was to get super glue and put it on deep cuts. Sometimes when you self-harm you would go overboard to the point where you would need to get some super glue and cover up those wounds so they stop bleeding.
