As an a9 main i absolutely hate this patch. I can't even use my main now because some idiot wants to pick it because it's meta. I only wanted defense buffs, not cooldown buffs at all. Increased the cc in this game as if there wasn't already enough. 0/10 patch.

@@altarialover tbh that’s how metas are. They’re designed to incentivize the player base to diversify. I do feel your pain in regard to watching someone take your main and doing poorly with it. I’m with you on that 100%, but it is nice when your main who you love so much becomes amazing. I was an A9 main myself since day one. Even have the sacred style skin. Personally my one wish was that Aurora Veil moved with A9 but if y’all say she’s good now I’ll believe yall too

I wish more youtubers uploaded games like that second game. Most of the videos I always see are people getting 4-6 stacks in the first minute, and steamrolling lane. There's not much to learn from, and it is more useful to see how good players act under extreme pressure and disadvantage.

I disagree. The average A9 player is pretty bad and there is still too many attackers that are less squishy, don't move as slow and do more damage as ADC or attacker

I can see why this build is now good. With Fire Spin and Psyshock you’re covering a really large area around Armarouge. They step in range of Psyshock they get stunned get too close then they’re suddenly melting to Fire spin

Do you really need Aeos Cookie anymore? The shield from Fire Spin scales off of Special Attack instead of HP. I get why you would use cookie when fire spin gave defense stat buffs, but wouldn't Resonant Guard be more useful?

I could see it and maybe Potion for extra recovery when you do start getting worn down. A Focus Band might do just as good too I think it might just be personal preference

I think it's just because it's better against burst damage, full Aeos cookie stacks is better than 1 proc of Resonance Guard. Also, Armorouge has less base HP so you get less shield from Guard

I don't stack with Armarouge and never felt like I'm losing out on damage or bulk. Spoon+Focus band feels enough.

Honestly, it is pretty much dead, at least competitive, certainly not dead in SoloQ, but good players will probably try to stun Chain CC it, which is not often, but Zard is the one in the bunch of auto bruisers most suspectible to CC, If you think you can try to fight the CC, then go ahead.

@Warren_The_Metamorphing_Camel Chained CC will screw up any Mon that doesn't have resistance to it. The main thing that makes Zard bonkers isn't any of its skills, it's the Ult not whiffing and the Ult wasn't touched.

Actually i was testing out this build after sosadsam uploaded it day before yesterday. In certain scenarios it's really really good, you need a bit of a frontline or a support to make this build work properly. In 1v1 with flame charge arma, this build loses though. But then again i still haven't tested out cookie on this build yet.

Psyshock gets a second cooldown buff: Cris-"Fire spin psyshock is the best Armarouge build" 🤡 (Tbh,the worst build still,you got no mobility,no shield effects. Flame charge at least gives you a shield effect even after it got nerfed)
