Thank you Daniel. And as AWESOME as Tony played ... from game ~15 on ... Dennis played SO TIGHT. All but handcuffing Tony. Dennis ball pocketing and position was ridiculous. Dennis recovered from a NINE GAME DEFICIT on Tony. Just one of the highest level 1p I've ever seen. It even changed my expectations of finding dead balls. All around, outstanding. A++

The shots tony pulled off in this match are second to none. Stole many racks. It’s scary that Dennis still almost won.

The end of Part 9 finished with a score of Chohan 36 - 35 Orcollo. We missed 3 games evidently since we see Part 10 here picks up with the score 37 - 37.

Obviously they both played outrageously good, but I def think the jelly rolls favored Tony.

What's with the credits? We know Daniel is the Producer, Director, Editor, Cameraman, Lighting Director, Sound Man, Engineer, Commentator, and everything else. Hope I didn't forget anything. You're the man Daniel everyone know that and we appreciate POV. But the rolling credits makes me feel like I'm about to watch a sitcom of the 70's.

+ 1 Thanks for posting. This now senior watched all 10 parts and it made me forget about Covid 19 for a bit. As a close to 40 year player and student of One Pocket, both Orcollo and Chohan have off the charts shot making abilities and cue ball control. Both made the occasional strategic blunder when the safest/correct shot should have been obvious. Sometimes the not obvious shot worked great, but other time not shooting it turned into the opponent running a number of balls or running out. While it is hard to imagine a more thrilling match, a few years down the road and after some more one pocket seasoning, both players have the making of one pocket all time greats. And no, I don't think either could have beaten Efren Reyes around his one pocket peak years. There was at least a decade when the biggest names in the game would play Reyes for cash only with a big enough spot. I worked at Dallas TX original Rusty's 24 hr billiards on West NW Highway, one of the biggest action rooms in the Country then, when in 1982 or 83 a young Filipino (later known as Efren Reyes) showed up. From then on it would be several times a year, and he became interested in one pocket. Having Jack Cooney, John Haggar, Grady Matthews, Flyboy Jim Spears, 'Bugs' Rucker, and many other there sometimes for month was like schooling at the highest level. Cooney practicing to corner hook the cue ball inside his opponents pocket after making a ball, or double kissing frozen to the rail balls into his pocket (i have yet to see anyone else making that shot). We let the dad sneak in an underage Shannon (the cannon) Daulton whom his dad would stake to match up and play John Haggar and later Jack Cooney. Jersey Red would sometimes visit from his Houston poolroom, and we were always glad to see old time hustler U.J. Pucket. An older skinny and a bit eccentric black player, always wearing long shorts, knee socks, and old style eye glasses with rubber bands, known in the old days as 'Cannonball.' one of bank pools all time greats used to come in, and big Sam Barnes was no slouch either. Buddy Hall, Sammy Jones, and many more. One of the funniest things I recall is little Nicky Varner being asked by a drunk whether he played pool and wanted to gamble. Great times.

Thanks so much. But *please* have someone (Geraldine, if available, else just draft some spectator) doing nothing but keep score. The score was wrong more often than it was right. It's not possible to pay attention to the chat and keep score at the same time; that has been demonstrated.

Bcoz it's 1 pocket which filipinos rarely plays and most not even aware of, tony is a 1 pocket specialist and nearly got beat at his game
@maicolc721611 ай бұрын
@@derbyjakemalazarte8973absurd to say Filipinos don't play one pocket. Efren, Busty, Pagulayan and orcollo have all been the best in the world at one time or another, beginning with Efren in 1999. Also kiamco, Roberto Gomez and many others. T-Rex beating orcollo is an epic win.
@derbyjakemalazarte897311 ай бұрын
No really, you won't see filipinos play 1 pocket in the philippines ever... only those top guys that travel do, common pinoy billiard players haven't even heard of that game
