Just noticed you get 5 merits for scanning a FSD wake - and you can scan the same wake over and over till it expires and get 5 merits each time.

I just did this with 470 units and only got 7200 merits, and only then did I realise I didn't fly 200LY away from where I bought them from 😂😭

I think this just has been nerfed - people are saying supply is very low now for those most used rares... Merits payout seems unchanged as I'm currently delivering stockpiled rares from my carrier

Payout's are unchanged as far as I can tell but they have made the supply of them around 1/4 of what they were previous. Brew is now only 32 supply max.

I don't think it's a nerf as much as the simulation doing the same thing it's always done... when you get too manyy buyers, it starts reducing the supply per buyer. Some locations still selling full amounts, but the most popular ones selling less than full

@@AtlasRandGaming Yep, I just went to look for my second load of Soontil Relics, and they had the full 80t for me, while I see people complaining that they can only see 30 tonnes. It looks like the stock is per player, and the more you buy in a short period of time, reduces the total stock level for you. But as far as I was aware, this is how Elite has always managed the commodity market. In-demand items get lower stock back. Besides, if everyone bought 1000's of tonnes of a rare to sell, it wouldn't be rare anymore. 🤷‍♂

Are you pledged to a power that normally gives a bonus to rare trading? I pledged to Pranav and I only get 3100 doing Soontil Relics and only got 4100 doing Corn/Beer. And yes I went the correct distance.

You just buy it at the respective station, some rares have higher stock

Carier not required. Just go to the goods that sell in larger quantities like in the video.

Frontier has just massively lowered the stock levels of rare goods, so I'm done, uninstalled and never coming back, good luck to the rest of you.

I don't think Frontier haven't done anything. I'm still seeing 80t of Soontil Relics, while others say they are only getting 30 tonnes. It seems the stock levels are per player, and depend on how much you've bought in a short period of time. This is how the commodity market has always operated though, so it's nothing different. It's just that everyone and their dog are trying to buy rares right now, and the market is drying up for them.
