I am a hindu and a student of Bangladesh🇧🇩. I was directly involved in the movement. On 5th August, when dictator Hasina resigned from her position, so there was very much possibility of hindus and other minority people would be attacked. So we hindus and as well as our muslim brothers, we all were aware and gurded our temples, houses the whole night. The "Gaouchia Committee " ( গাওছিয়া কমিটি) one of the biggest muslim volunteer company of Bangladesh stand beside us. From 5th August night to till now they are checking, guarding our temples, hindu residing areas so that we can be save. And yes, inspite of guarding heavily, the attacks on minority is still happening, we couldn't absolutely stop it. But the attacks are happening mostly in provincial areas, in border area villages where the guarding are not enough, but I can assure you brother, most of the areas including cities, villages are safe. And our new intermediate govt. Is working to stop the attack from those provincial areas. We have to give time to our govt. This minority attacks are not new in our country. But as a hindu, this time I'am seeing light as most of our muslim brothers are continuously helping us. Because this country is for all of us, not for any particular religion( দেশটা সবার, কোনো নির্দিষ্ট ধর্মের নয়)। most of us hindus are safe, don't worry. Where the attacks are happening, the administration is taking step ASAP.

I am a Bangladeshi Hindu. The thing is , after the awami govt collapsed there has been intense situation all over the country for Hindu minority community. Situation in real rural BD is even worse. Houses, temples are burned, properties vandalized. People's been saying things on our face like "Dalal of India" "Go to India" and what not. It's not new though. It happened in 1971, 1975, 90's. But this time, it's more intense. And if Jamayat takes over officially, only God knows how many houses will be burned, how many Hindu people will be wiped out and forced to leave country. And it's not about the physical torture, career opportunities in civil services for Bangladeshi Hindus will be limited as well. Like our neighbours and extended family relatives, my family could have left Bangladesh, but they chose Motherland, I chose Motherland. Yet, every day I have to go through this mental torture. The other day, my mother and I were having a conversation and she said, "It's not the houses or temples that they burned, they burned our HEART" Still, I choose my Motherland, Bangladesh.

In 1972 Farakka was opened for testing for a few days which by now made Bangladesh a desert. We have been paying Adani 400 core per month regardless we use the electricity, only Taka 40 tariff per ton for transit thru BD, we are 4th largest remittance, 3rd largest trade partner, #1 in tourism yet India supports Tyrants to advance their agenda who rubber stamp India's wishes. Few years back to balance trade we requested a list of 1600 items and only 6 was approved. Our borders are more dangerous than the Gaza/Israel border, During covid we paid advance for vaccines but that wasn't delivered. We can list 1000 more such examples. In 1971 India also gained by defusing tension from its east. It is in our both interest to keep good relationships but India is just taking. If India thinks they don't need Bangladesh, we will be happy if you shut down all trades and seal the border. Our minorities, our brothers and we will protect them with our lives, yes during tension some ppl try to play the race card but it's under control. We don't talk about gross minority treatments that take place within india. In order to become a superpower one's heart needs to be like one, I think Indians should focus on its public health issues so we don't have to see ppl pooping by train tracks.

Akash bhai, I am from Noakhali, Bangladesh. Majority in my area is hindu. 80% of my childhood friends are Hindus. We never had the feeling that we are different in religion.It’s true that some mandir and hindu houses got attacked. But their total amount would not be more than 100 incidents in total 180 millions. We hope not a single people get affected anymore for being minority. But we are very upset abt Indian channels and newspapers exaggerating the issues and portraying hasina as an angel.She and her men are now planning most of these attacks to unstable the govt and take her lost crown by pushing of indian govt for safety of minority. She is a master of dark arts,trust me. And i don’t even support her opposition. I even work for an indian company in Bangladesh. I like indian people and their patriotism. But they should not worry abt us anymore. We have it under control now.Pray for our prosperity and peacefulness.

@@nirnoyorbachin5072 India is called hindustan Aryavarta many more. But India's constitution is a secular constitution which has affiliation with no religion and india has no official religion. But constitution of Bangladesh itself does favoratism to Muslims of Bangladesh then what else is there to see? Constitution is considered the soul of a country. Beside India's the only non Muslim majority country in the entire world which had four former Muslim presidents and three former Muslim vice presidents and even one former Sikh president and one former Sikh prime minister. Name one non Muslim president in Islamic Bangladesh?

Hindus are safe in Bangladesh. Yes, it’s true that in some places Hindus have been attacked recently. This happened because the police left their stations due to attacks on corrupt officers. Consequently, the situation became favorable for looters. As a result, opportunists took advantage of the chaos and started looting both Hindus and Muslims. However, we, as students, do not support this. We love our Hindu brothers; they fought alongside us for our freedom. Now that the government has taken control and the police officers have returned to their stations, they have promised to investigate. As the influence of the Bangladesh Awami League has declined, people and opposition parties are attacking Awami League leaders and members because they have endured their oppression for about 15 years. I personally don’t support this. In this chaotic situation, some local criminals (unorganized and random individuals) have started attacking both Hindus and Muslims to loot their properties, as the Bangladeshi police are currently inactive. Yes, I care about your concern, but I don’t understand why Indian media is portraying that all Bangladeshi Muslims are killing Hindus, etc. The leftists are doing this for their own benefit.
