What magic Kumarji creates with his manner of rendition! The uccharan is occasionally reminiscent of Master Krishna (undoubtedly Prof Deodhar would have studied and passed on his knowledge of all the famous gayakis of his time, to young Kumar). Also, a bit of nitpicking, this isn’t a drut bandish really. I’d have qualified it as ‘madhyalaya’, but these are somewhat nebulous distinctions.
