Firstly, I just want to thank Mr.Jae for the changes. Thanx to him, my house is now cleaner than ever. I always appreciate the extra AFK time while placing on uncapped so I can get lifeskill buffs. Now I know I will be able to have an even longer extension on my AFK timer if I roll a Succ Zerker so that I don't need to click respawn as often. It's important to note that while evasion players will get hit more often (there are higger acc buff than evasion buff and the formula for calculate hit chance seems the same) they will also get more dr for free (cause its aditional dr from sheet dp, not total dr). So it's a trade off, they will get hit more but incur less damage. Also, bhegs got buffed, but nouver/kutum will stay the same, so, evasion players basically gets free accuracy (against dr player with nouver).

Dr is also getting the bonus dr though, so if this is the case why not just be DR and take reduced dmg all the time? That’s what I’m not understanding about this update. In endgame pvp people already could melt evasion builds if they built accuracy. Now it’ll be easier for them to reach a threshold where they hit most of their attacks against evasion, and if they miss they’ll still be doing damage. Why even bother with evasion at that point? To gear check people? It just seems objectively worse endgame

@@erickmunizrocco I mean, she has some issues such as being reliant on thunder punch, some slow animations, etc. Other than that, even with the eva nerf, she should be in a much better spot with the 25% Dr while in SA. Her AoE’s arent super big but she makes up for that in CC potential, short but potent combos and protected movement. Her grab feels good and she generally has a funner kit than striker. She should be in a solid spot once people figure out the new meta sets up with gear, crystals, artis, etc.

They are changing sooooo many variables at the same time, no way pearl abyss took to time to balance everything with each class having damage modifiers that apply to specific classes, or disparities in group buffs.. this is just wild and soo many people at the top of their game are about to feel like gods... I wish they did more incremental changes and let players test these things out first

The problem is, that with something like this, they cant make small changes. The hit reduction is a HUGE improvement in the game, one of the biggest ever in all of BDO. It might be the single biggest "performance" improvement the game has ever seen. Its awesome! But it brings issues in terms of evasion and how it works, so you gatta respect them for biting the bullet, and doing a long-term change (that will require ALOT of balancing over a long time), that will make the game significantly better for years. Its gonna be a huge shit-show for the first few weeks, and massive class rebalancing is needed. But something this big, and this needed, you cant really make small changes with. Those comes after!

Eventually, yes. It will be a while because i need to do a lot of testing, but also because new items coming and HOPEFULLY a lot of adjustments following the initial patch.

those changes are crazy. sorc goes from ~15%+6%+(-9%) = 30% to 13%+12%+(-3%)+34/4 = 36.5%? and i dont have to get the debuff everywhere + skills that had no hit rate now hit the same. BUT... arent accu and eva% based on the base accu/eva the char gets up to lvl 50? so the ~4accu=1%accu are actually 3.83accu=1%accu, right? if they change that by 34, you actually now gain 4.17accu per 1%accu? for the calculation, that would mean an additional 25*0.34=8.5accu on top...

@@nasserkhalid619 we get buff to accuracy. and the equalization of skills means, that you probably need way less anyway. because now you need to get enough accu so your skill with the lowest hit rate has 100%, wich is a waste if any other skill has higher hit rate.

I mean depends on warrior gear and scaling. If maximum dmg builds cannot kill tanks anymore but tanks still reliantly kill dmg dealers than dmg dealer builds will be useless. Is just example I have no idea where the direction will actually go.

The big question: does this mean that now all CC will land? Sounds like evasion classes will taka a huge hit because evasion classes are squishy AF. Like a Lahn can't take hits like a Warrior or Valk can, some classes relied heavily on eva. At the very least we should get weapon and weight exchange coupins to roll to a DR class

Doesnt this mean you basically always stack as much ap as possible? Like youre never going for any accuracy accessories ever for an offensive build because even against evasion targets youre able to do damage bo matter how low your accuracy is. And you need every bit of AP to punch through all the extra DR people have.

10% chance to deal 10% dmg? So 0% accuracy you end up doing 1% total dmg... Yeah nah. Exactly how it will feel will be remain to be seen, but accuracy is very much still a must have stat for pvp. If anything evasion might end up being stronger now, because as you said, everyone has a ton of DR, so if you drop all your ap to beat the enemies accuracy, he still has a lot of DR that you then have issues punching through. We will have to just wait and see exactly how it plays out once we get it, but it will for sure be a glorious shit-show for the first few weeks while they rebalance it all

Its the other way around. You have a min of 10% hit rate, even if the evasion target would leave you with 0% hit rate, then you still get a 10% chance to hit, and deal 10% dmg.

Animations will stay the same. Some smoothing etc has been done, but you wont notice it really - only feedback ive heard is that "it feels smoother". But length etc is the same so no worries

Hold on on the Dmg reduction on SA. What exactly does "when useing Succesion skills" or "when useing Awekeing skills" mean. Do they specificly single out Prime skills and the whole Awe kit? Aka all "normal" skills like absolutes etc, even if they are SA, have no change in dmg reduction? To the acc on Hash, thats how he is used to be... he was one of the rare classes back then that had accses to very high acc selfbuffs AND eva selfbuffs but 0% on all skills besides summons. He does fall in line with others that way, he simply needs to actually use a proper combo again.

No, they mean all awakening skills get that DMG reduction rate in SA. For example, when an awakening warrior uses any awakening skill with SA he's gonna get a 20% DMG reduction. When he uses any pre-awakening skill with SA it will only be a 15% DMG reduction. If it's a succession warrior then all SA skills will get 15% DMG reduction. Doesn't matter if it's an absolute or a prime.

I read it as: - An Awekeing Warrior useing any SA awekening skill will get 20% dmg reduction. - An awekening Warrior useing any Pre SA skills will get the 10% base reduction. - A Succ Warrior useing any PRIME SA skills will get 15% reduction. - A Succ Warrior useing any non-Prime (Absolute) skills will get 10% base reduction. Technicly speaking Absolute skills are NOT succesion skills, only PRIME skills are. I assume your first 15% are a typo and you meant the base 10% we get across the board for all SA´s. Now IF we assume that "succesion skills" is the Pre skill set in its entirety, then they would have said something like "succ spec gets 15% dmg recution on SA".

It seems like the days of being able to out skill someones gear score is almost done for... Also the percentile damage on eva gear seems to be better for classes with a higher hp cap. Its kind of wierd for them to flat all the other stats but not hp unless the ap is going to be lower for higher hp classes.

So basically these rejects have reset the meta 12 months. Striker, valk and zerk are going to be broken. "Less hits due to performance" literally never an issue btw, just going to make long skills feel way worse. Yay, now certain classes will be even further out of the meta. Oh but WAIT THERES MORE, our prescious Zerker will get 40 dr and 25 percent dr due to his dogshit spin to win mechanic ticking twice in forty minutes... hyperbole but whatever.
