Hi Jay, I started preparing for the exam only couple of days prior. Didn't have access to many mock tests or practice materials. Just followed your YT videos and your templates especially for retell lecture (which was the toughest part for me as I looked through things). Ended up getting a full score in all bands. You're just the best. Thank you.

Listen to as much English as you can. Academic lectures are a good place to start, as you will hear English spoken clearly and articulately. We recommend the Yale lecture archives.

@linhtruong81112 жыл бұрын
I don't have any memory of the lecture, everything is too fast and even audio quality is indecent. I'm in trouble to remember beginning of short sentences imagine remember the whole lecture and taking notes....basically if you are a high level English speaker but you are not fast or not have short term memory, you are totally f**ked. That's quite unfair. Why they don't find a better way to do it, or at least give a bit more time to assemble a proper speech about the topic.

Anybody undertand why the first retell lecture was talking about removing the justice system with a hint of far left feminism? and this is the shit immigrants have to listen too to become Australian residents, makes me question if the whole shift is worth it or not, Imagine rejecting these statements and failing the exam just cause the content wasn't neutral but more left inclined bullcrap! Also if were assessing language why make it academic and not general I willing to stake my visa that75% the australian population would struggle to get 90 and 50% might even struggle to pass. What a double standard this system is!
