I did try pteranodons versus helicopters (and marines) and didn't find any interactions there, since people have asked a few times. I haven't tried compies yet but I have to assume that works.

This is amazing! Pterosaurs attacking not just guests, but dinosaurs makes them a big threat to your park when they escape. Speaking of, I wanna see the Dimorphodon pick up a goat. They say it is a cool animation.

It's absolutely incredible, but I've noticed while attacking guests, they don't lift them up to a higher point and drop them, they don't eat them though.

Update idea: "Shelters" made of rock, nature, and wood that can be placed for smaller dinos that make them less likely to be scared of storm and when inside are protected from predators, downside is guests cant see them while they are in there.

Maybe you could research something to make the shelters out of one way glass or add cameras, similar to what real zoos do.

Maybe there is no interaction with theropods but perhaps aside from poor little homalocephale maybe other herbivores or maybe even small carnivores can interact with pterosaurs, I think that would be interesting to just test out.

Side note I just watched a little video about a tapejara having a different guest kill animation which is pecking then until death(pretty brutal but cool) and I wonder if some of the others would have different guest kill animations as all the pterosaurs are unique with their beak shape and size and general body size so we’ve seen pteranodon and dimorphodon have a go at guests but what if all of the other pterosaurs have a somewhat unique animation! Good thing we don’t have to wait to long to test it ourselves, less than twenty four hours left and I am pumped!

Can you showcase the scarring system? There’s a scar stat, which might not seem like much, but in a video showcasing every dinosaur there was a Herrerasaurus with white marks not apart of a pattern. There was also a second one that looked similar, but it had red around the wounds.

My request would be seeing whether there can be any interaction between dinosaurs and the marine reptiles in their lagoons. Can dinosaurs fall into the lagoons or can they be dropped/re-located into a lagoon? I’d like to envision that they’ve created a “Walking with Dinosaurs” vibe from the episode “Cruel Sea.” Where the Liopleurodon snatches the small carnivore on the rocks in the starting scenes. Hopefully this is something that can work however I doubt it unfortunately.

Humans die far too easily in both JWE games. Nobody fights back, nobody gets injured, they always just die. It makes sense with the limited guest interactivity of the games but it would have been neat to have first aid posts, infirmaries and such. And of course, the animals are far to aggressive. But that's a leftover from the movies I guess.

It's cool that the Dimorphos don't try to pick up humans cuz they aren't strong enough, so instead they pounce on them and bite their head like the one in the movie tried to do with Owen before Claire intervened. Also, in a meta way, it makes sense that Pteranodon and Cearadactylus don't like each other, Cearadactylus was THE pterosaur from the novels but it was replaced by Pteranodon in the movies and Cearadactylus faded into obscurity. No wonder they fight. XD

I try to explain if you make somwhere on the map everything that a Dino/air reptile Likes like for pterandon lot of Water,stones,fish they will go there and make it their teritory if they find something better they go there to make it their teritory

for the table and chairs it's possible that the npc's try to pathfind to them to sit down? so if they're in the aviary wouldn't npcs try to reach a point they can't and get stuck somewhere.

likely not, as the game is going to release in 2 days, and it's a complicated feature, but you can achieve basically the same thing by releasing your flying dinos out of the aviary, though it wouldnt exactly work in a non-sandbox park

They should allow the aviary hatchery to be placed outside the aviary in sandbox mode so you can make a wild pterosaur flock. Either that or allow them to hatch from the regular hatchery.

Fun fact: the feet of most pterosaurs, including Pteranodon, are not well designed for grabbing things and carrying them into the air likes this; this method of killing likely rarely if ever happened with them in nature, instead they would probably spear prey with those long sharp beaks.
