For just 540 horsepower the chipper does a nice job. Smooth even feed with few stops and starts of the feed system which drastically improves fuel efficiency.

Heating, Power Generation, Paper, Furniture, Board Mills etc etc - the list is long and varied. In this case probably clean Power Generation at a local power plant

I've watch way too many of these shredding videos. At fields, roadside, landfills, lumberyards, etc. Not once, ever, ever, have I ever seen one time when the shredding was done. Always more. Never done.

It would be cheaper and ecological to set fire to these dry branches. These machines must have polluted the air more. Not to mention the energy costs for the production of such machines ...
