I disagree. Fortress was their masterpiece. I’ve been a protest fan for going on 12 years. Nothing in my opinion will top Fortress. But then again, that’s just my opinion. Something about their old drummer man...so creative. This guy is amazing don’t get me wrong.

I'm not a drummer, nor do I own a drum set. I am however a musician (so I like to think I have good ears) and I listen to A LOT of drum covers. I know it's just youtube so you can't really judge sound quality very well, but this is the best sounding snare I've ever heard. Maybe it's the (Koa, is it?) shell, could be the heads he's using. Maybe it's the studio he's in, or just his sheer skill as a drummer. Or it could be.. all of the above. Love it, and protest the hero

A lot of people say this is less accurate but that's not really the case. Mike has made the drums fit his own vision. Why should he play it exactly like Chris did anyway? That's not really showing off your talent, that's just doing what's already been done, as if he was just covering the song.
