I watch this video way too often, it's that great, thanks Mike! Also, your clinic talks are phenomenal, thanks for being so gracious!

Mike looks a lot more comfortable playing this than he did playing Chris Adler's part on the playthrough video for 'Drumhead Trial'.
@instrumentalist12947 жыл бұрын
Which is odd seeing as this song is technically more difficult to play than drumhead trial.
@stephensanjuan43317 жыл бұрын
I think because Mike wrote the drums for this song while Drumhead Trial was another drummer

Did Chris Adler write the drums for Volition? I thought he just filled in for the recording process.
@BarrySchanz4 жыл бұрын
@@ReaperKezia I read the regular band members wrote the drum parts on Volition.

I know that I'm a little late on this, but even chris was uncomfortable recording the parts that were written on Volition. I'm not so sure that Moe would have had an easy time, either. They definitely composed some technical stuff on that album.

I hope their next album has more "organic" sounding drum mix, not like what was done on Volition or Palimpsest, but like this! Sounds amazing!

Thanks! We're sure our staff member who mic'd up the kit and recorded this video would really appreciate it and would leap at the chance to mix their next record! 😆

Pth made alot of money to be fair. Especially when they ditched the shitty record label undergeound operations. They make money from music merch live concerts. Ive seen people spend like 500 at the merch tables. And they have a big fanbase globally.
