@16:32, yes! If you ever go to NZ, the guides will chastise you if you spook à fish by walking too close to the bank. Especially because the fish density is so low that the next fish could be a ways up stream.

Joe, you've gotta try the Scott Centric 905. It's not as new as the Helios or R8, but it's a rod designed for the West. Couple years old, but definitely hangs with the brand new stuff.

Starting backwards with part 3 thinking 70° tiny trickle water?? WOW bigger trout than Oregon average!!?? I need some of them Sticksalots! So I know you are the expert especially compared to me but a big heavy streamer I would cast downstream into their face and hang there like "Wassup" and piss them off!! Awesome video! Need to see part 1. Looks like you are not in the U S of A?? Peace 🕊️☮️♾️😎🎸🤟🏼

On trips like this can you opt out of fishing lakes?

I was on this trip so I can answer as a client. The short answer is yes but it's not 100% guaranteed. Joe and Jeronimo mix up the guides and the water that each client fishes each day. I didn't fish the same piece of water twice during the trip, and I only fished one lake for a portion of one day, as I preferred rivers and creeks. I don't think they will guarantee they can always meet every angler's requests, but they did for me this particular week, and I saw them taking all angler's requests into consideration as they did the tetris game of matching guides to pieces of water to anglers.

Video and audio freezing again before you hook into one (20:40 into the video). The same thing was happening on your day 2 video.
