PTO Problems on the Old John Deere 2010

This old JD 2010 seemed to be in good shape for a couple of years. One day I hit some tough Bahia grass while shredding and it killed the engine. When I started it up a terrible squealing sound was coming from the rear end. The sound was actually worse when the PTO was disengaged. Eventually the sound stopped after a few more hours of cutting, but a clatter sound replaced the squeal. And here we are with a dysfunctional PTO!

Have a gas 2010 as well. We had the local JVS rebuild PTO on ours awhile back before i was old enough to work on that stuff. It was a similar issue though. Did you get yours fixed? I'm currently chasing overheating issues
